Backstory:
Evan Blackstone is a grizzled dwarf, veteran of countless sparing matches and well paid soldier in his spare time. Tough and grumpy, Evan is usually difficult for first acquaintances to become friends with, but it’s usually due to a lack of understanding, Evan is often rough because he had been taught from a young age that people respect strength, and not “soft feelings”, as he calls them. Close friends of the dwarf however, will see through this hard exterior, and notice that Evan has a deep loyalty towards his friends, a keen sense as to how honest a person is, and always quick to laugh. Evan certainly fits the stereotype of your average grunt, but Evan is well enough acquainted with combat to know that intelligence and tactics are the key, thus, he is usually able to switch up his tactics to outwit or outfight his opponents. He is no Einstein, but his keen mind does give him the edge in many battles…or barroom brawls. At his happiest clattering away, Evan has a personal dislike of anything magic, especially spellcasters due to a mage killing his bride to be. Often brusque and certainly unwilling to accept claims of surrender from them, this minor character flaw occasionally hinders Evan’s ability to work in a team, although he does his best to stay professional with his fellow pathfinders.
