Oh okay, cool.

Grand Lodge

Whelp, I'm all set, I just need a guess pass for d20Pro and I'm ready to go. :)

Grand Lodge

A healer witch would make a good compliment to my life oracle. :)

And yeah, I'm all set.

Grand Lodge

What Zieg said. I don't mind playing in a large group, and my experience online is that a larger group has less distractions if it's digital (but of course, we can still distract each other ;) ).

You can call it a definite on the oracle, I've been slowing building her over the past few days. :)

Grand Lodge

I'm in EST, but pretty much free the whole day (unless it's a holiday, of course). Oh, since I don't have Hero Lab, would sending you pdf of my char sheet be all right?

Grand Lodge

Hey! One of the interested players dropping in. :)

Gonna make an oracle for this one, probably human or half-elf. I'm tempted to try one of the races in the new book, though...hmm. I know I'll settle eventually. ;)

So what are we using to connect? All I'm familiar with is skype. Uh, if we're using the thing where you need to pay, I might have to get a guess pass--I'm flat broke atm.

Mike, will Pathfinder be a full class progression or a PrC or is this a secret (like your meeting of last week that we are supposed to hear about sooooon)?
There is one prestige class for the Pathfinder Society in the hardcover, but we will undoubtedly make more later (in much the same way there isn't just one harper prestige class but many).

Music to my ears. The Pathfinder really intrigues me and I'm just itching for more info--be it fluff or crunch.

(Mostly because I have an idea for some original fiction set in Golarian, and I'm thinking of making the main character a Pathfinder)

So it would just take a teensy bit of extra effort to wrap a single cover around them all and sell it as one book, right?
My very next question. People are still clamoring for a hardcover AoW collection, knowing full well it'll never happen. It seems like a hardcover RotRL or CotCT would almost certainly sell.
I'd buy it, and I already have the individual volumes.

Same, simply because I have book OCD and would want the individuals AND the collected edition.

Grand Lodge

Wow...had no idea it sold out so fast. I'm glad I have my copy. ^___^

Mike has said that there would be a Pathfinder PrC or full class in the Campaign Setting this summer. Then you can make your own PFs and add them where ever you'd like.

AWESOME!

Well, thanks to this thread, I actually filled out my profile. Probably would have completely ignored it if this thread hadn't popped up. ;)

I was sooo disappointed about the Dragon/Dungeon mags going "online only". But then Pathfinder was announced and I was excited. I love RotRL! Archmages do make the awesome BBEGs.

Then they announce 4e, about 2 years too early in my opinion.

My group had switched from the RCR Star Wars to Saga Star Wars with a lot of anticipation earlier last year. We ate up every morsel of info before the release, bought the oddly shaped book as soon as it was out. Well. Then we played that system, and while so far we are sticking with it in theory (haven't played it in months), I for one really don't care for the changes.

I miss VP/WP. I miss the skill-heavy Force powers. I miss having my library of feats, ships, weapons available for use as-is. I miss adding some skill points to random skills, instead of having a narrow selection available. My ARC used to have a smattering of skills, now he's solid at only a handful.

So 4e to me sounded like Saga was coming to D&D. So my gut reaction was a big fat DO NOT WANT!!!

Then I read about it, and it sounds pretty meh overall to me. Meanwhile Paizo is rocking out with new product, great customer service, etc. The flavor changes in 4e REALLY annoyed me, again at a gut level, and with Pathfinder's flavor remaining unchanged AND sticking with 3.x, my decision was made.

I will probably buy the 4e DMG, to complete my Basic>1e>2e>3.0>3.5 DMG collection. But I have been sending Paizo my gaming dollars month over month for a while now, and plan on keeping that up. The Pathfinder RPG has me giddy in the way I haven't been in a long, long time.

You, my friend, share my feelings almost exactly. (Rather eerie, that)

4E smacks waaaay too much of Saga Star Wars, which was a huge let-down when I attempted to play it. Hence me being less-than-enthusiastic about DnD getting the same treatment Star Wars did.

Put Paizo? I am continually impressed by Paizo and the work it's doing with Pathfinder, and I find myself saying I am a Pathfinder fan (I even got upset when the latest charge to my card didn't go right--I contacted Paizo and begged for a way that I could get my latest Curse of the Crimson Throne book--I am THAT loyal to the company now).

WOTC...these days, I look at my shelf groaning with 3.5 books, and sadly shake my head. They had something great there, something I loved. And they're making a hash of it now.

Heck yes, Leukodaemons. One good look at the beast made me glad I wasn't fighting it (too bad for the players that will have to meet it, though...). That illustration of one in a glass tube is awesome, btw.

I also liked the Nosferatu variant of vampires, and the whole goblin mess just had me grinning. They're always good for a laugh. ;)

Hello, I am the player of Celise (and once, Avlan). Just wanted to drop by and say that I'm really enjoying this story and seeing where our DM goes with it in his writings.

And yes, Ielena (played by my brother) really does act like that. ;)
