Male Human Infernal sorcerer 1
![]() After detect magic: So intense! This becomes more and more intriguing. This place is, if not a source, at least a receptacle of massive arcane power! His skin shivers at the thought of the magical energy and might he may be able to access in this place. Then I shall return, and those fools will pay... Erikan stands ready, arcane words on his lips, as Agromite shifts the lever... ![]()
Male Human Infernal sorcerer 1
![]() Um... I'm in Victoria, Australia, which is GMT +10, which means for EST I'm +14. So your 7pm is my 9am. Fortunately, I'm on often at most times, depending on how busy I am. An iPhone helps, as does being a musician and keeping strange hours. This post, for example (you do the math!). ![]()
Male Human Infernal sorcerer 1
![]() Erikan introduces himself to the half-drow with a bow. "A pleasure to meet you. My name is Erikan Staldidt." Neither his voice nor expression hold any hint that he is addressing somebody of obvious drow descent. A half-drow? No drow ever had hair the colour of honey. This could be very interesting... Erikan is quite happy to travel in the middle of the main pack :) ![]()
Male Human Infernal sorcerer 1
![]() Erikan takes his best educated guess at which papers might be more interesting, informative, or arcane, and gathers a pile weighing about 30 lbs. He looks towards the towering barbarian, offering her a friendly smile. "I might take you up on your offer, if it still stands..? To carry some of this, I mean. My pack is rather full..." Actually, he's just rather puny - if Ingred wouldn't mind taking 20lb of paper, I could handle 10... Also, GM, I'll make a roll to see if I can determine some interesting pages for when I get a chance to take Linguistics and read through all these long-forgotten fiendish writings! Spellcraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 ![]()

![]() Erikan looks warily at the bottle Ingred drinks from. "Er... Maybe later. But thank you," he adds, picking up the last of the papers. GM: How many are there? Do I need Ingred's help in carrying them? Ingred: Yeah, I didn't think too much about the whole Celestials/Infernal thing too much... Should be interesting! ![]()

![]() Erikan looks over to Ingred. "They are old - indescribably old. It is due only to magic that they have not crumbled to dust centuries ago." He smiles crookedly at the massive woman. "If you could resist your pyrophilic urges, my dear, I'd rather hold on to these." The sorcerer begins gathering up the ancient sheaves. ![]()

![]() Once it seems obvious that the corpse will not spring to life and start attacking randomly, Erikan moves forward to inspect it also. "Handsome looking devil," he murmurs, searching for some hint of what may have caused its demise. Any chance a Spellcraft check could identify signs of magical injury or other effects? Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 2

![]() Erikan:
Erikan Staldidt is a bard-like infernal sorcerer. The failed applicant of a number of Way of the Wicked campaigns (boy those games are tough to get into!), he's a likeable kind of evil, or evil with neutral leanings. His alignment may very well shift through the campaign, depending on his experiences and the relationships he forms with other characters.
I may also change some of his spells - I saw him as being very useful in the many social situations that would presumably arise in WoW, but maybe things like charm person will be rather irrelevant in this game, GM? I'm not imagining that I'll ever use it on a PC, so if we're not going to be fighting many humanoids, could you let me know? I'll also be tweaking the backstory to make it Golarion specific, unless you want to put Talingarde off the west coast of Varisia in this version of Golarion? Me: For myself, I'm a 32 y.o. jazz saxophonist. I've worked in a myriad of day jobs, ranging from high school teaching to taxi driving - I'm currently a supervisor at a number of workplaces that have been created to offer adults with disabilities (and also the chronically unemployed) opportunities to engage in meaningful employment. I've been playing D&D since about 1990 (old red box!). IRL, I'm pretty much always stuck as the GM, so I get my player fix here on the boards. I've just begun the all-consuming hobby of RPG freelancing, and my biggest score so far is getting a gig writing an adventure for Midgard Tales by Kobold Press (out in June/July, I believe!). |
