Background:
Having grown up in Port Peril Erik has always wanted to become a pirate! The son of of a prosperous Hedge witch and some long lost buccaneer he grew up with private tutors in both sword craft and the arcane arts, but his heart always belonged to the sea. Anytime a storm rolled in he would always run out on his lessons and beg a ride on any ship going out into the storm. Erik had just returned from his first real voyage as a cabin boy on a vessel running in last years Free Captain's Regatta. They came in dead last, but they crossed the finish line intact. Strangely while in the great hurricane Erik manifested strange abilities that he had never known of and found out that he had the blood of the janni running though his veins. Upon returning to Port Peril, Erik found his mother on her deathbed, before she passed she gave him the name of his long lost father's surname and was shocked to find out he had once been a mighty Free Captain. Now having taken his inheritance to equip himself, Erik is ready to set out and once more make the name Stormeyes feared and respected on the high seas.
