"Bah, no matter. They'll all remember the Halvani name in time." Erasmus looks around at the group for a moment, frowning. "I don't suppose any of you have etiquette training."
Erasmus balks at the sight of the fake name on the scroll. "What, I agreed to this?! Falsifying my family name... that's so disrespectful!"
"We've our work cut out for us, it would seem. If what you say is true, we'd best start from the ground up, and consider all of that information compromised, is that right?"
Erasmus/Gray: Erasmus slept as soundly as could be expected, given the circumstances, but doesn't show his face for breakfast. Around the time his apparent comrades gathered to eat, a number of loud THUD noises begin to come from his room, and the building shakes as if risking collapse.
Shortly after waking up, Erasmus had begun reacquainting himself with his ethereal powers, which quickly lead to the discovery of a newfound ability to effortlessly lift heavy objects. Idly, and with no regard for the structural integrity of the building around him, he had begun entertaining himself by rearranging the furniture in his room.
Erasmus/Gray: Erasmus gives Gray a subtle shake of the head, then flips the innkeeper a gold coin and sits down for a meal, setting the hefty trunk off to the side of a table.
Erasmus/Gray: Erasmus declines the spell, and makes his way to the inn alone and totally visible.
Erasmus/Gray: Unfortunately for Erasmus, it's simply impossible to don a gigantic suit of plate armor quickly or quietly, and so he settles for strapping the entire trunk to his back, leaving his hands free to carry his shield in one hand and the hilt of Contrition in the other. He didn't need the hilt to summon the blade, of course, but the ceremony of it was important. He tapped the hilt and shield together, attuning it to himself.
"Come on, then. We'd best hurry."
