Talhariel is a storyteller, singer and thief. He used to work mostly between Galt and Kyonin, but not many of his kind were happy to see him, at least not the males.
He is a follower of Calistria and can be found in taverns or brothels or entertaining other groups of bandits at night camps.
Elsbeth met him when her caravan ran into his band. But they weren't trying to rob goods and kidnap women, they were fleeing from the rain of arrows fired at them by elven patrols from Kyonin ; when Elsbeth saw his Calistrian pendants she conviced the caravan leaders to help hiding them (him in particular, with great joy of Talhariel) after having quickly searched and stripped them of weapons.
He stayed with the half elven chelaxian sorcerer for most of the following journey toward Brevoy before leaving in his search of freedom and lust (and girls to spoil, but he wouldn't admit this).
Not knowing he'll run into Elsbeth again, Talhariel takes par in the tournament as a minstrel.
Elsbeth greets the trade delegation from Brevoy with easiness, she doesn't want to make pressure on the men, or rather, she doesn't want them to think she is going to.
Is possible to have some nice looking young girl from nearby homes or settlements to gather some sort of welcoming committee? Elsbeth wants them to be the most relaxed they can be, so to make them talk of things they normally wouldn't without even realizing that.
The sorcerer will welcome the men, find them a good place to rest, offer good meals and drinks and generally listen, nod and smile ,letting the men do the talking.
Of course she will be dressed like a noble woman in a high society commitment
not using bluff here,but can surely use the charming trait on these men.Since i'm not sure if i have to roll to check on local girls i'm rolling two diplomacy checks, the first for recruiting and the second for the actual transaction with the delegates

Elsbeth would be interested in joining some contestants sooner or later, but only for greetings or celebrations after the tournament, as she is no bard and have no trained perform skill.I was eventually think of having her take some bard levels, but that remains to be seen
The NPC Elsbeth asked for may also be a would be bard then ? He can be an lvl 1 expert follower of Calistria all the same, and this will give me the hook to lure him.Elsbeth knew him while talking her way out of a dispute involving bandits escaping from an elven patrol on the borders of Kyonin.Will work out more details this weekend.
For the Ballads i'll probably just make a skill contest, but don't know the participants

While Elsbeth understands Alandra's point, she also thinks the Abadarian church will help in raising their funds.She also felt those two "hunters" should be watched closely,but she is going to need assistance.
Looking like it is going down, Elsbeth decides to save other charges of her strongest rod.

She behaves as a sophisticated foreign noblewoman, not as follower of Calistria with such people of course.
This Elsbeth said to the party short after the end of chapter 1, so a couple of months ago
"Last night i had another dream.Again a devil congratulated with me for the souls of the bandits in the fort.Akiros was among them.But this time it wasn't traumatic, on the contrary, i was almost pleased."
For Oleg, Elsbeth isn't going to act like her usual to lure men.Think she will leverage on Oleg's skills as a trader to help her and Svetlana running their new land
Diplomacy with +1 trait bonus agains males 1d20 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 11 + 1 = 15 I'ld like to kill the dicebot.Given that Oleg's attitude toward Elsbeth should already be friendly and her higher charisma mod this is probably high enough anyway
1. As long as Elsbeth is questioned he can do whatever he wants to with the Staglord body
2. The undead should be dealt with asap
3. Elsbeth doesn't really care for some rubbles and crumbling walls. She says to let the surviving bandits take refugee here after stripping them of every resources, and using the Staglord body as a warning. We won't be able to keep the fort and report to the swordlord at the same time, and could watch the keep for us after the right reminder
4. Elsbeth thinks Lev should carry on the execution of Auchs, the sooner the better
edit: of course let's start to pack the horses, we have quite a lot of stuff to take out of here
So are we going in the cellar without resolving with Auchs first?

"I may not be the only one with noble blood, but i'm the most qualified to talk to people without luring them into trying to tear our bodies apart. If you want to question him as well i never said i'ld have opposed, and Anya said we, which includes me as well"
Elsbeth sounds like she is amused this time, rather than offended
Elsbeth looks surprised at first.
"Me? Holding a court? I would say i'm not really the most suitable person for that ; i'm much more used to talk with more influenceable men."
The chelaxian sorcerer gives the simpleton another look, with more compassion. "He looks more like a child, so maybe we could just promise him some cake if he behaves, but i don't see prisons of sort around here.We'll have to let him go, kill him or take him with us in the end."
After relaxing some more moments, Elsbeth asks some preliminary questions to the simpleton, at a distance.Only simple stuff in the beginning, for example the name, how does he feel, what he was doing here, what he needs

Massaging her cheeks,Elsbeth joins her party.

Elsbeth exults and does a short dance of joy.
"Congratulations all friends.I'ld have liked to ask Akiros about that beating the Staglord would have given me, but doesn't matter i guess."
She looks around still smiling in satisfaction.
"What we waiting for? Let's collect the spoils"
For a moment Elsbeth is afraid that Alannah is going down,with the awful wound Akiros just inflicted her.
But she calms down on seeing the archer woman still fighting. But Akiros must be brought on his knees as quickly as possible.

With the healing energies of Pharasma's blessing surging through him, Lev opens his eyes again and carefully climbs to his feet, his weapon before him defensively.
He glowers at the man standing before him and says one word. "Run."

If he doesn't have it to hand, he'll draw his handaxe as a free action (Quick Draw) as he stands. The nearest foe will get an Attack of Opportunity but Lev's AC is now 20. (-1 for Dex, -1 for Size, +4 for Total Defense.)
If the enemies are evil (i doubt they are lawful good anyway) Lev should have another +2 deflection due to Elsbeth's spell
Letting Dovan run? That doesn't look like a bad idea to Elsbeth, they have already their hands full of enemies at the moment.And Akiros is surely the most dangerous now.
She steps backward a bit to better see her target and aims the rod

Elsbeth moves as fast as she can staying behind the wooden boards, reaches Anya's back and gives her a protective field.
She hopes to have enough protection from Anya and the plank so to cast undisturbed.

Elsbeth can do nothing to aid Lev, and won't risk exposing herself to archers.Not sure what targets she can see right now.If she can see the owlbear she will shoot another double Magic Missile at it, otherwise at the simpleton.If both target are unaivaible she will use Mage Armor on herself, then will go behind Lev and give him Protection from Evil, which should add to his AC

Elsbeth bursts into a smile of satisfaction on seeing the Staglord's body torn to pieces, literally.
Her cheeks and lips hurt terribly in doing so , and she thinks that her face will display a prominent bruise for days.
Not being the time for such concerns,Elsbeth releases the power of the rod she drew in the meantime.

That is why i'm going behind a cover this round,hope a gigantic Lev will lure enemies next round.But he will have a strength score of 20 and a one size increment greatsword (that should be at least 3d6+5 dam)
The heavy blow leaves Elsbeth dumbfounded for a moment, the time to realize the pain.
Then the girl's gaze changes into pure hatred. She seems to be back in the room where she had faced her father , and where he had tried to rape her, something that had led him to death.

Elsbeth is going to run back for the nearest cover while drawing out the rod of Enlarge Person and then cast the spell on Lev (at CL 1 the rod has a range of 25ft right?).Does she have to roll for initiative?

Even Elsbeth had the doubt that her words could not reach this man. Meeting the insane gaze of the staglord made her shiver.
The sorceress hoped not so much as to be obvious, but perhaps she could take advantage of this after all, the same staglord should have know what effect he had on others.
She took courage and spoke showing deference and submission.
"Mighty Staglord, I apologize on behalf of my boss and our worker for this deplorable incident. I was just going to verify who is responsible, but at this point does not really matter.
Your companion Kestle has given us the means to introduce ourselves here hoping to serve you, and we brought all the grog we could as a tribute to you, so there is plenty left.
You can enjoy what is still available, and my boss and I'll replace the barrel that was lost, unfortunately this will require a few days."
Elsbeth stopped talking and waited, her heart was beating faster than it had ever done.
Elsbeth hurries toward Lev and the two bandits keeping a stern expression.
She shouts at Lev.
"For Calistria's breasts, what's going on here?
I thought I told you to be careful with those barrels, what the hell I'm paying you for?"
Then to the bandits
"And you two, you may not be on my payroll, but you should at least ensure that my grog arrive to the StagLord am i wrong? Or have i to report you ? "
She pretends to be really angry.
Elsbeth turns toward the uproar, then sighs "It seemed too good that everything worked as it should had" she thinks.
Whispering to Alandra and Anya.
"Better we go and settle things, before men start acting like their usual, which means without using the brain"
Not sure myself how i would have handled the same situation.Should have to read better the various archtypes and try some unsual situation myself to have an idea,but yours was clever Wrath
"It could work, but how to approach the Staglord? We don't even know where he is.But i could trick someone in believing there is no harm or risk in taking us to him,with a charm spell"
