Umm yeah so in further re-reading of permanency I remember why I have disallowed this spell in pretty much every edition I have played in. For one using the starting money to say I have cast this spell and this spell y spell on myself not going to fly. If you were to do that in game that is totally different. Now as to the spell itself. In my game I am going to veto that spell. unbalancing as it were. As to contingency have no problem with you knowing the spell, have a problem with the I teleport to my home when dropped to 10 hp deal and that you have it precast again not okay as this should be done in game. And a careful reading of contingency states the spell can't be higher the 1/3 your caster level, which is 4. So with that in mind you need to rework the character, I need a clear sheet that shows your actual stats, i can barely make since of the stats you posted. Please look over some of the other players sheets and either use there formating or do it similar as well make sure you note how much each item cost you and again until the character is fixed I need you to hold off posting

Hi Thas! sorry to have made your life difficult, a lesson learnt for me is to not modify old charcters, im better off starting a charcter from scratch, its less confusing! and i make less mistakes

what a great idea!!, this character took me hours to create and the GM bailed after about two posts! somebody please bring me back to life

the spell is on barak (the cohort)
so he yells out in common
EVERYBODY GET OUT OF HERE, A DEMON WILL BE ARRIVING IN ABOUT 15 SECONDS
GET OUT YOUR LIVES DEPEND ON IT

He say to the pcs, we going to have company (and he points to where it will arrive)
so barak will move round behind where it will arrive so therin and him can flank

we have three round of buffs before it arrives, this may be a tough fight with only 2 pc's!!

catman can i do three rounds of spells?

if a fiend is teleporting in then we get three rounds notice as it gets trapped in my "anticpate teleport greater" spell Catman, does that sound fair? is that how you read the spell? if it gets trapped then we get to suprise it!!

hi catman! whats up? was it invisible before it attacked? beacuase i can see invisible, did it teleport in? because if it did it would be trapped for three rounds, where is it in relation to the rest of us? where are we?

please please note Anticipate teleport greater from spell compendium(everybody please note this one as it will effect all of us if we dim door or teleport into the area,it is designed to stop us being ambushed by nasty teleporting spell casters
but we can get caught in it too!!)

also note that both charcters are immune to crits

The difference is in the pp vs the gp.

Each pp is 10gp, so 100,000pp is 1 million gp. Big jump up.

just to say i will try to sort out my cohort asap and sort out magic items but will not be able to post much until end of august beacase of hols and youth camps (im a youthworker so summer hols are really busy!!!)

im slowly building my charcter up
here is a bit of him so far

just to say, the assay spell resitance is a seriously cool spell!

do we have a front line fighter type
if not i could play around with my cohort, change his name to "this is my last day on the job, look here's a picture of my family and the boat im going to buy"
and he could wear a red shirt too!
