Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
Eliva's voice is full of regret as she responds, "I have no oil. I have some healing magics to make this up to you, Leandro - my apologies!" At the last word her voice involuntarily harshens as she throws her first flask at the beleaguered paladin with all her strength and concentration. Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 (touch)

Eliva blinks, holding her burning arrow in one hand, then rummages around in her pack, triumphantly pulling out a flask of green liquid. "I have this and one other - it might help!". She looks for something hard amidst the swarm to smash the acid flask against.

"Ah, for me? A well ripened field of wheat. I suppose there are more grandiose sights to be seen, or great cities to behold, but sitting under a tree heavy with fresh apples, overlooking a large field of golden wheat waving in an autumn breeze...it's wonderful." Eliva sighed happily. "I love the temperature and colors of autumn, and heavy fields mean the village will eat well over the winter." She unconciously rolled her shoulders. "Bringing in the sheaves can be hard work, but it's also a time everyone in the village works together - the conversation and extra hands somehow makes it less onerous. And the upcoming harvest feast is always fun to discuss. I do remember a couple of nights where my arms were throbbing as I tried to fall asleep, though!"

Eliva's left hand holds Leandro's hand, and her right rests in Res's. She can't help but realize that of all her initial companions, only Res's resolute presence remains. Her grip unconsciously tightens on both Leandro and Res's hands as she grits her teeth and growls, "No mists, no bites, no evils will force me back from my duty." She keeps her eyes and ears open for danger. Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
Eliva looks down at her half healed wounds and winces. "Well, other than me, anyway, I hope not. Thank you for the healing, Tybalt, those creatures' claws and teeth could tear through flesh and armor easily." Eliva casts another cure spell on herself to heal her remaining wounds.
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
Leery of using her arrows now that the fight seems won, Eliva draws and nocks another, but readies her action to only let fly if the creature tries to flee. Move to I-12, ready action to fire if the werewolf tries to retreat.
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
Eliva steps up to gain a better shot and shoots the laughing creature. Attack: 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 8 + 1 + 2 = 23 (+pbs+song)
Ugh, bad time to decide not to bane. :(
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
"Thank you, friend Tybalt. These foul creatures' claws hit hard, and their perversion of cooperation through fear instead of community in anethema to my god." She draws another silver arrow and steps to one side, shooting at the creature singing this time. Step to J-10.
Oooo, I so want to crit!
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
Sorry, long week at work. Hmm. No CMD on sheet, but it's 10+bab+strmod +dexmod = 18. Fortitude: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12 With a growl as angry and feral as anything the werewolf before her can summon, Eliva surges to her feat and launches another silver arrow, this time at the creature attacking Res, summoning the power of Erastil to lend her blow strength against the lycanthrope. Bane vs. shapeshifter, Judgement (Destruction) Attack: 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 8 + 1 + 2 = 18 (+1 pbs +2 bane)
(oooh, I want to crit. Verra niiize.)

"Create a giant rock around us all. Even if they scent us as they approach, they cannot see us. If we all stand ready with bows, we will be able to pick them off or charge out and take them a bit by surprise," Eliva suggested, then tucked her arrow in her belt as she muttered a spell over her bow. Casting weapon of awe. She nocked the arrow to the bow. "Remember, if you don't have silver, hit as hard as you can, forsaking accuracy for dealing great damage. We have to get through their tough hides." Eliva scans the land about them for any approaching danger. Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
"I think it best to expect the worst while hoping for the best," Eliva murmured, drawing and relaxing her bow slowly to keep it limber in the evening damp. "I find this helps me keep a more positive attitude, while still being prepared for unpleasantness." Eliva does her best to keep a careful watch and look for signs of danger, while helping the party avoid places where they are most likely to leave an obvious trail, such as muddy patches or ground that is difficult to keep quiet when walking over it. I was thinking perception and survival - let me know if rolls are desired. :)
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
Eliva looks at the group and speaks softly "That howl...was probably not from a normal wolf. If so, it is incredibly large and dangerous. I suspect we may be hearing a werewolf. Walk carefully, everyone." Eliva makes sure her silver arrows are within easy reach.
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
Eliva hears Tybalt's question as she packs the wand away. She grins and claps him on the shoulder. "Of course! I certainly hope if we find ourselves in similar circumstances, you would do so! Comrades in arms! I must say, I am gladdened so many of us have some small abilities to heal ills!" Were any of our traveling companions injured? Eliva would heal them if so...
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
Seeing the trouble the crows are causing her companions, Eliva takes a step back from the foul scarecrow and looks back at Tybalt and Res, calling upon Erastil for aid in calming the crazed creatures. 5' back to I8. Cast calm animals. LINK
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
Eliva takes a well placed blow from the scarecrow as her arrow goes wide, but she is overcome with anger at the foul thing, and resists the shiver of fear that runs through her handily.
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17
Eliva moves forward to get a clear shot through the crops, and aims an arrow at the scarecrow in front of her, readying an action to shoot it if it moves toward her or any of her companions. Move to H7
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
Eliva smiles at Tybalt's reference to their lack of invisibility and silence. "Well, some of us can get close," she murmurred to herself. "But I would agree that our strength lies in numbers. And we can hopefully provide enough...distraction...that we can allow our friends going other directions some relief from interest and pursuit."
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
"I have heard tell of the Land of the Linnorm Kings, though I have never been there," Eliva says to Anuqa Amaruq. "It seems we hail from the same world. Erastil's blessings to you in this strange land." Eliva nods at Leandro's words. "We can control this a little by keeping light on everyone who was bitten, and taking them into darkness one at a time." She smiles a little nervously. "I will be able to see clearly even in complete darkness, so I should be there to assist however I can."
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
Eliva doesn't like the feeling she gets as they walk back through town, and keeps a sharp eye out for any hits of attack or danger. Perception:1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13 Eliva was about to make a suggestion when Tybalt strod up to the door and used the heavy iron knockers. She winced at the loud noise. "It might have been better to slip a note under the door," she muttered. "Now the sisters must awake, and our visit here is much more likely to be noted."
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
Eliva looks thoughtfully at the open drain. "We take everything we can find in the house and stuff it down the hole to plug it. Or does someone have magic that might accomplish the same goal? Otherwise, I think it better we move on quickly." Is there wererat's body's final form hybrid, rat, or human?
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
Eliva looks at Tybalt. "I hope the curse is indeed lifted. I understand the desire to lock up the cellar - if it takes us no time, I am in favor of it. But their alternate forms are so small, I fear it will do us little good, and our time may be better served in getting this feather token to the sisters and meeting our allies. I am at peace with either decision," she adds, not terribly set against spending a few minutes locking the cellar door, if such is possible.
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
"Did we want to look for an entrance to the sewers? Or have we completed all we need done here?" Eliva looks at the bird figurine. "This...would be useful if someone needed to send us a message. Do we want to try to leave it with the Sisters, for use if they are in trouble, or our companions we leave with them are?"
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
No problem. I had limited options, but it was worth a try! "I accomplished little more than annoying him," she muttered as she put her arrow back away. "Hearing the Sisters are not a major concern is some comfort." Her face brightened a bit. "If we are enough of a thorn in their side, we not only may thwart their plans, but we distract them from hurting innocents. That's comfort of a sort." She looked around. "We should tend to her body. We may find information here that is useful too." Eliva begins to search the room for anything that appears dangerous, magical, or informational. Perception:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
Eliva readies to cast create water the next time she hears the familiar speak, hoping to outline him in a downpour for everyone else to attack or capture. Create water will create 8 gallons at 4th level. It can be used to create a downpour, which is how Eliva plans to use it. She will attempt to pinpoint the square the creature is speaking from and cast it there.
Female Half Orc Inquisitor 5 {HP:28/30}
Eliva tries to track where the voice is coming from, and looses an arrow in its direction. Perception (to attack correct square):1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
"I used her fear of silver's power against her kind, the fact that she was surrounded and in our power, and the usual perception that this sort of exterior must house a violent nature to frighten her into cooperating," Eliva admitted, gesturing toward her greenish half orc skin and tusks. "But she tricked herself into her fearful state. I asked her to think about how horribly she could be treated. I knew her own depravity and her imaginings of what she would do to us if our places were reversed would terrify her more than anything I could come up with. And it worked." Eliva smiled a little, and touched her holy symbol with one finger before reaching for another arrow. "Evil holds the seeds of its own demise." Note: I worded Eliva's threats very carefully (link to post). It had to be pretty terrifying after that roll, with her modifiers, but I wanted to make sure it was mostly influenced by what the wererat's own actions would be were their positions reversed.
