Hey Everyone,
I am about to start AoW and after talking with my players they asked me if they could run evil characters. I would like to say yes, but im not quite sure how that would affect the campaign and any hooks to keep the campaign running. So i was woundering if i could get some advice on whether they should be alowed, and if so what should be changed. Thanks in advance for any advice!

My characer is trying to create an 8th level spell (hes level 15) and i was just wondering if anyone knows what the XP cost, time, and money of creating a spell are (if there are any). Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the advise so far. Im getting some realy good ideas. I was thinking first i would protect myself from the breath weapons and spells (fairly easy), then i would start the encounter with a forcecage followed up with demensional anchore to keep him away from me. Then stand back and blast away with damaging spells (probably starting with avasculate hehehe).

Does anyone see any flaws with this plan??? if u do please explain.

Thanks so far for the advice. I was looking at forcecage and it looks like the best thing out there to keep the dragon away from me. But does anyone knoe if a huge dragon would fit in a 20 foot cube? If so then it seems easy enoughfrom there.

Im going to be facing an evil adult silver dragon (lol long story) solo. I am a 14th level wizard/1st level archmage (in mastery of shaping). Just woundering if u guys have any tips the best way to fight a silver dragon as a wizard. Particularly any spells that would be usefull would be much appresiated.

Ok heres some background:
Silverwing (the dragons name) befriended our party during an adventure a couple sessions ago. He was very helpfull and even let us use him as a mount. But i recently found out that he is evil and working against us with the main villain of the campaign, The Black Hand. So basicaly silverwing doesnt suspect me to attack so i will have the element of suprise and any defense spells i can get up. I might even be able to teleport him to a desired location for the fight if i get some good ideas. Currnetly the rest of the party is doing another adventure so i have to take out the dragon before he takes out the rest of my party.
I am the headmaster of a school of wizards so i can learn pretty much any spell in not to long. I have players handbook, complete arcane, draconomica, and spell compendium (although i only know for sure that my DM alows players handbook and the spell compendium). Thanks in advance!!!

I have been planning on running AoW for a while now and i finally have found some people to play with. But when i look at WC i can think of a way to start of the campaign. I was thinking that the first (intro) session all the players would come over and create there characters and let the characters talk among themselves about background and things like that but i wasa also thinking that maybe they could explore the Diomond Lake and even run into a fight or two.
Overall i real dont know what im going to do so ANY suggestions would be appreasiated.

Hi, I am just starting to run the AoW and i only have 3 players. Granted one of them is a drow (sorcerer) do you think i need to make anything less powerfull or help make them more powerfull. Any sugestions would be very apresiated.
