About Eiola Falconeye

Appearance: Eiola stands at 2'9" and weighs 32lbs. She has an agile build and is fairly strong for a Halfling. Her posture tends to be alert and ready, as though she's used to not getting much downtime. Her skin is tanned, most notably at the back of her neck to a near permanent sunburn, her hands and feet are largely calloused and her inner wrists show clear signs of scarring and wear from her time learning how to use a bow. Her hair is a dry brown, and tends to be trimmed back so as to not interfere with work, she wears a light-coloured bandanna over her hair, and an elk's antler tied into a single long braid, which provides her a field-worker appearance. Eiola wears either a light and well fitted field-hand's outfit for when working and at home, or studded leather armour when she is hunting or operating as a Pathfinder. Eiola's eyes are hazel and she possesses a fair number of faint scars about her face and upper body.

Personality Eiola is practically minded and a hard worker. She finds the need to work with the Pathfinder Society a necessity in order to help support her home community, and thus has a stoic and judgemental outlook on things. She finds it hard to respect those who would gallivant on hare-brained adventures of fame and glory, and hard still to respect fellow Pathfinders who follow more Evil and Chaotic deities, though she tends to reserve her judgement for the actions of these individuals.

Eiola is often relegated to be the voice of her community, negotiating with traders and merchants, and finds some ease in chatting with others as she works. Eiola is not quick to make friends, as gaining her trust can be difficult with her standards of hard work and respect for one's community, as well as a general respect for nature itself. However she is a strong friend to have once you have gained her respect.

Biography Eiola was born and raised in Lilac-Grove, a remote village in the north of the Verdarun Forest sitting on the bank of the Sellen River. She was raised with the teachings of Erastil, and from a young age could be found helping out in any way she could around the village. As time passed she found some solace in being more capable than most when it came to negotiating with merchant caravans and travelling traders, often making good deals for both sides in question.

Eiola was trained to make efficient use of the bow, and when she came of age was granted a bow of her own. That night she was visited by a Stag Archon, who informed her that her connection to Erastil was particularly strong, so much so that, with the proper tempering and training, she could act as a holy warrior of Erastil. Eiola was surprised by this, having heard the legends of both Stag Archons as well as those chosen as holy warriors of Old Deadeye, she accepted, and the Archon nodded in approval, informing her that it would tutor her and that she'd know when the lessons would start.

Eventually Eiola found her power as a Paladin of Erastil, exhibiting an impressive amount of skill with the bow, as well as a fair level of social grace. Eiola soon found that her village's finances were failing, and offered to outsource her services to support her village. It didn't take long for Venture-Captain Eliza Petulengro to catch wind of this and enlist Eiola as a Pathfinder. Eiola soon found the political climate of Galt to be quite to her distaste, and soon ended up in Absolam to work out of the Grand Lodge. Despite this, she spends a fair amount of time between missions sending supplies, gold, and letters to her family and friends back home, and longer periods of downtime she will return to Lilac-Grove and help with the village's work and prosperity while receiving the occasional lessen from the Archon she has come to know as Garreth
