I have the Dark Market's sourcebook (dead tree version). The map of the city of Katapesh has numbered sites which are referenced throughout the book and site designated by letters from A through at least V. I can't find a map key for the lettered sites, am I just totally missing this or was it errataed or did this map appear in a different product....? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Ed
If a creature has the ability to use Polymorph at will as a Spell-like ability and he intends to use it to blend in among other species or cultures, i.e. an Outsider who lives among the humans of Golarion as one of them, how difficult would you make it for him to maintain it? Does he has to take a six second pause every time he renews the polymorph as it runs through it's duration as the day progresses? Would this be noticeable to those interacting with him? As he renews it are there subtle shifts in the new version of the spell from the previous version that astute observers would notice? How difficult do you forsee this being for the creature in question to pull this off for extended periods of time?
Has there been discussion about targeting the racial abilities of creatures as far as mythic abilities? Demihumans whose senses are even sharper than their kin, spell-like abilities that can be used more often or to greater effect, gnomes who can talk to burrowing animals at will, dragons whose breath weapon is more potent or versatile, that kind of thing? Possibly even extending those existing abilities to an entirely new tier? Thoughts?
I like the PDF reader. It's pretty user friendly and seems functional. Looking at a Shadowrun PDF, I have no problems going to a specific page. You can either select a page number using the search key function and entering the number or there is a function on the right side of the screen where you can drag a cursor sphere to a specific page number with no issues. The search function is pretty basic, you type in a word and it scans the entire PDF and presents the options on a table to the left of the screen. Response time is pretty swift. On the Pathfinder PDF's I just opened to look at (Golarion Campaign Guide and Bestiary 2) I was unable to execute any search of the document but I was able to jump from page to page as needed. I'm still happy with the program but anyone who is using an iPad solely for PDF viewing of Paizo stuff should explore this a bit more before investing.
I have an iPad as well, my old lady purchased it for me this week after the price dropped and on the condition I stop refering to her as my old lady. I haven't messed with GoodReader because I went ahead and bought the 9 dollar PDF app. So far I have had no problems with any PDF's and I have Shadowrun, Pathfinder, Mutants and Masterminds and products from other companies as well on my device. Hope this helps. |
