Yea, sorry for the lame amount of posts from me, I just started my full time job. Makes posting a pain, but I had a great time. Everyone was simply amazing, great job!

A bit shell-shocked from his swimming ordeal, Edric simply gathered with the rest to absorb whatever healing magics Alia had to offer. "This was a rather long day."

Edric simply steps forward and tries to put an arrow in the smaller fey.

Without a word, the water-logged ranger simply retrieved his bow and snapped off a shot at the creature attacking Mrachni. He wasn't exactly sure what was going on, but he'd seen enough not to care. Anything with wings or fey features would be dealt with this day.

Declare rangers focus on the Quickling. Then from where I'm standing, draw my bow and snap a shot off at the bugger.

Gonna post while I've got the chance. This weather is stupid!

Gasping for air, the poor ranger begins to drown as his metal armor begins to pull him under.

1d20 - 1 ⇒ (13) - 1 = 12

Thrashing towards land with a violent shudder, the waterlogged ranger pulls himself out of the drink by using a tree stump. Thoroughly exhausted, and a wee bit scared, Edric simply glances at the scene playing out before him with a glazed look.

Edric grits his teeth, "Enough chatter, let's finish this."

Will Save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Using Mrachni's rope, Edric tries to get through the water as quickly as possible.

Swim Check: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (19) - 1 = 18

Not sure how far I can get in one round of swimming but I'll try to go as fast as possible.

I'll be out most of tomorrow driving up to start my new job. I'll be able to post tomorrow afternoon. Feel free to have me try and swim across with a rope if that's the groups consensus.

"The water seems to be the more sensible approach. I'll try it if you like.", the ranger offered in an attempt to appease Alia's fears.

Can we safely avoid the traps now that we know where they are?

Edric points out the traps on the bridge silently, trying not to draw any attention to them if there might be someone watching.

The ranger nods thankfully as Alia uses the two scrolls to relieve most of the venom's effects. "It'll have to do. We've a job to finish. But thank you for the aid." With that he points out the tracks he'd found, "I think I can follow them back to this Cyflymder fellow."

Raising his head from the ground and the tracks he'd found, Edric's eyes narrowed. It's that gaggle of lawn gnomes we were warned about...

Turning and facing the gnomes, the ranger made no outward move that would give away his hostility, but he tends his muscles (what was left of them) and readied himself to draw his weapons at a moments notice.

Edric eyes the finey crafted axe. Then glancing at the potions "Any hope of those being restorative in nature?"

Collapsing in a heap, Edric tried his best to hold down his lunch. His eyes water as the spider's venom still burns in his veins. "Please, by the gods, tell me someone has some anti-venom or a way to help with spider poison..", the poor ranger croaks as he inspects the host of spider bites covering his body.

Hearing the commotion, the ranger dashes into the house. Seeing the axe-wielding maniac looming over his halfling companion as he struggled with the flames, Edric unleashes an arrow into the fiends back, trying to grab his attention.

Eyeing the fey with no shortage of dislike, Edric decided on the only action he could think of, distraction.

Edric will plant an arrow into the swarm in an attempt to provoke them into coming after him.

Ranged Attack vs Swarm: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Bow Damage 1d8 ⇒ 4

Easing his bow string back into it's resting position, Edric lowered his aim, grumbling his dislike but doing so nonetheless. "What's going on inside the house?".

Moving quickly out of the radius of the entangling spell, Edric notches another arrow and waits to see if the fey creature's words are true. "Just say the word Alia...", the ranger obviously meaning his intent to be his notched arrow.

Move out of the entanglement and use my standard action to ranged a bow shot against the fey creature if Alia gives the word to fire (and if I can see the invisible wench!)

Readied Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Bow Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 1

I've never had a rolling spree like that on this board... ever. The luck backlash is going to be intense. I'm soooo doomed!

Grimacing as the horde of tiny spiders bit at his flesh, Edric tried desperately to avoid the swarm of insects. The magical vines that sought to entangle him didn't help the matter any, either.

Fort Save vs poison: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Fort Save vs distraction: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

Reflex Save vs Entangle 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

Trying deftly to escape the gnashing fangs and devious vines, Edric snapped off a single arrow despite everything else, believing the taunting fey creature was likely cause of this predicament and her elimination might stop it.

Ranged Attack vs Fey Creature: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Longbow Damage 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

If I successfully saved against the entanglement, I'll move to where I've shifted my character on the map. If I failed, then assume I stay put in the SW square from the door and take the bow shot anyway, and I'll return my character to that square as soon as the results are revealed.

New Reflex save to avoid being Entangled at the end of my round, if I beat the first save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Notching an arrow in his readied bow, Edric quickly takes up a position beside of Alia, "Kick it in, I don't think the druid is in any position to greet visitors!"

Move beside of Alia would a double move as indicated by the map.

The gruff ranger shrugs, "Go and knock then. I think I'll wait outside, just in case." Edric was never much of a talker, he suspected he might even make the situation worse were he to try.

Motioning to the tracks he'd noticed, "Strange tracks. Light-footed and quick, like fey or something moving with magical speed."

Nearing Hemzel's home, Edric quickly turned his gaze downward, peering around for whatever trail appears to lead to the cottage itself. His mind raced with thoughts of lawn gnomish ambushes. He eyed the ground carefully, hoping to catch sight of any tracks the little buggers could have left behind.

While Edric's face may have remained neutral in its expression his gaze spoke volumes, his displeasure with Hamshanks' response evident. "A gaggle of lawn gnomes you say? A dreaded thought indeed.". The ranger frowned despite himself, obviously this venture-captain cared little for details and only in results.

Edric rubbed his beard thoughtfully as the venture captain spoke of their mission. He didn't care much for having to deal with disgruntled druids on their own home turf and he sure didn't believe it would be as easy as planting some trees for the old man. However, the speak of a band of gnomes caught Edric's notice.

"These gnomes you spoke of, do you know how many there are?"

As he spoke, his mind drifted back to their destination, the Verduran forest....

I'd like to put for my ranger for consideration. I've been really looking to get into a fast paced game and can post multiple times daily.
