"Shut yer yap," Edmund snarls to his sister as he floats forward. With a bellow, he swings an ectoplasmic fist at the skull hovering in front of Lorant.

Slam!: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 bludgeoning

Edmund floats back. "Nothin' down at the bottom of that forget-me-yes pit. Nothing at all." He glances around suspiciously. "But something's funny here. This whole place, empty, and now this? I don't buy it anymore than I buy it when a woman says, 'I had a great time' after you've paid her."

Ed sighs. "Very well."

He will go investigate, assuming it doesn't go down far enough to break his bond with Ella.

"More's the pity."

Edmund punches the ghost in the face again.

Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 6 + 2 = 28 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

He pauses to look at the Lopper incredulously. "Man, this guy has stamina! Am I actually doing anything? I have to admit, sir, I'm intrigued about your potential popularity with the good-looking ladies and gentlemen of your day. Anyway..."

He hauls off and punches him again.

"Gettin' - real - sick - of this!" he grunts. He moves to flank the spirit with Cassiel or Lorant, if possible. Not totally sure from the map if that is - he seems to be above us!

Edmund continues to howl in rage, and the two incorporeal forms swirl together. "He's mine! He's mine! THEY'RE ALL MINE!!"

Ed howls in pain and rage as Ella manipulates his ectoplasm, and then lunges for the other phantom. "Only *I* get to kill the stupid knight!"

Not sure how far the Lopper is from Ed, so two attacks - disregard the second if Ed needs to move more than 5'.

Edmund hauls himself down the rope, going face first, which is a little alarming.

Edmund doesn't stir for a few moments as Cassiel's handprint glows on his cheek...then, suddenly, he sits up with a rush.

"WHOOOAAAAHAAAAHHHHH! I WANT TO KILL SOMETHING!"

"ARRRRRRAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!"

Edmund howls as he solidifies once more. "Arrrrrrgh! Alright, I'm ready to punch things a lot!"

He floats forward and, with a roar, lays into the nearest pile of bones.

Attack 1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 bludgeoning
Attack 2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 bludgeoning

5' "step," and a full-round attack against #1!

”Now what do you wa—ARRRGH!” Edmund howls and writhes as all the ectoplasm is sucked from his body with a wet schlurp. ”I’ve told you that hurts, b~!~#!” he snarls. ”Fine, lemme go take a look...” Now incorporeal, he floats past Lorant toward the still form.

”Heh heh heh...someone’s got musical inclinations,” Edmund leers, floating over. ”C’mon, Judah old boy! Give us a tune!”

"I'M! F%*&ING! KILLING! HIM!" Edmund bellows. He continues to pound at the Piper of Illmarsh.

I figure the odds are low, but if incorporeal creatures can hurt the Piper...Ed's gonna try!

Edmund emerges from the wall of the shack, shimmering slightly in his incorporeal form. ”F@$@er doesn’t have a thing there, not even much furniture. This town is a hole. I say we get out of here.”

"STOP. WIGGLING!" Edmund attempts to hold the jacket tighter, although it's hard with such an obnoxiously violent "inanimate" object.

Grapple check to pin the jacket (if that's possible): 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 3 + 2 + 5 = 24

Edmund sighs as he drifts into the room. I think he's in ectoplasmic form. He calls out to Cassiel, "Here--I'll hold, you punch. Or stab, whatever you like!" He attempts to grab onto the straightjacket, flanking with Cassiel.

Grapple: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 3 + 2 = 21

Ed looms in the background, leering. "You know you can always ask me! I'm a spirit! Technically."

"More to the point, I can't friggin' fly," Edmund growls as he climbs. "You'd think being murdered and then unwillingly bound to this mortal coil would have some benefits--at least flying around and slowly driving your sister mad--but nooooo." His head disappears through the door.

Edmund sulks and raises his hands in defeat. "Fine. You'll hear no more from me." He drifts back down the hallway. As he passes Ella and Judah, he growls, "And it wasn't me I was referring to, sweet sister."

Edmund snarls when Cassiel confronts him, floating right up into the paladin's face. "Who said I want to be close to your bright, shiny, self-righteous b+#+@'s light, Sir Bibliophobe? If you're looking for someone to apply that choice of language to, I suggest--"

He breaks off with a sudden howl of pain, clutching at his head.

Edmund floats over to Lorant and hovers nearby, watching closely. He chuckles.

"Heh heh...I knew there had to be a reason you had that stick of self-righteousness so far up your ass. You're a killer...little Ella saw you for what you were, but she's been hoping to be proven wrong. Takes one to know one, say I."

Edmund, grumbling, floats up to the stirge. "Alright, get off him. Go outside, there are lots of obnoxious children out there that are way more plump..."

damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

"Now that was rude." Ed mutters.

...and Edmund appears. "Eeaaaggghhhh! Good to be back in the land of the living, even if they're not very lively!" He grins, leering, at the group.

"Ha! Leave him to guard the place?!" Edmund whirls on Judah, closing to within inches of his face. "This worm couldn't protect you if his fully armored body was the only thing standing between you and a horde of rapacious and bloodthirsty orcs. We should leave him in this prison to rot."

He howls suddenly as Ella glares at him, and floats away to take up his position at the opposite end of the passageway from Judah.

"Awwwww, did the fancy-pants man get bruised?" Edmund sneers. Still, he glides back down the hallway, moving around Mathus to approach the two skeletons as Judah drags Lorant away from them.

I've moved Ed 25' on the board; if Judah can actually move Lorant out of that square this turn, Ed will use his remaining 5' movement to enter the square Lorant currently occupies and attack skeleton 2.

"Arrrraaaaaghhhh! Goddam, why does that hurt?!" Edmund cries, enraged. Slashing damage, too! That's the kind that hurts!

He lunges at the skeleton directly in front of him!

Attack 3: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Whiffing again, he swings around wildly.

Attack 3 (Again!): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

My god... The phantom is clearly thrown, throwing wild haymakers.

Ed, hearing the sharpness in her voice, mutters, "Uh-oh," and leaps out of the way to engage with the skeleton on the right.

Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Attack 2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

"What? Oh--aaaaarrrgh!" Edmund howls as he phases back through the door and is suddenly "pushed" into ectoplasmic form. "Goddamit! Get off him!" Crossing to Cassiel, he punches at one of the insectoid forms clinging to the paladin.

I can't seem to move Edmund (perhaps because of the doorway?), but he should move up to be adjacent to Stirge 1.

Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

The phantom sighs. "Very well, very well. Don't get your knickers in a twist..." Grimacing, he strides up to the door and passes through it.

He'll look around that space and then return to report!

"I've done my fair bit of delving into interesting holes, I'll tell you that much. Heh heh."

The shade scowls, but, still incorporeal, does as commanded, floating over to the lip of the hole and peering inside.

Note that Ed has 60' darkvision.

"Easy for you to say!" Edmund snarls.

Edmund lets out a sudden grunt, then a howl. "Aggggh! Dammit, Ella, it hurts when you do it fast!" With a sudden slurping noise, the solidity of Edmund's form seems to drain away, and he takes on an appearance equally spectral and transparent as the group's foe.

"...Still, this could be fun. C'mon, f~&!er!"

Stepping around the howling phantom, Edmund doubles up his fists and swings wild haymakers at it.

5' shift and full attack. Edmund in incorporeal form can whale on incorporeal creatures without penalty.

Pretty sure Edmund has to do this too, which is entertaining.

Edmund scowls, but obeys, pushing his way through the crowd into the room and swinging a fist at the nearest chain.

Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

"Oh yes, oh yes, they're very impressive," Edmund says snidely, swinging an ectoplasmic fist at it.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

"Now, see, I can do this too, but my expertise was always in more...delicate stratagems." He chuckles ghoulishly.

There's only one spider left, right? So attacking that.

Edmund just growls at Lorant, clearly peeved.

"Wha-hey!" Edmund growls as Lorant pushes past him. "Rude!"

He takes it out on the spider Cassiel has struck with his sword.

Unless of course Cass killed it, in which case both attacks go to the one in front of Mathus. Basically, if at any point that spider's dead, all remaining attacks shift to the right. ;)

"Ugh, is this really the best you have? C'mon, I figured the one that talks to rats would be a pansy, but I thought you might actually be able to swing that sword arm, Cassie." Edmund grumbles as he pummels the spider in front of him.

Full-round attack. If the first punch takes out the spider directly ahead of him, the second one will hit the spider in front of Cassiel.

"Ugh. What now?" Edmund groans petulantly. Drifting over to the wall next to Mathus, he pushes himself against it and suddenly lurches through, leaving a spot of slime on the wall behind him. Falling through the wall into the cobwebbed chamber, he looks up in apparently genuine surprise. "You need help with spiders? Really? I expected better..." Striding forward, he swings a fist at the nearest spider.

Move (including a phase lurch through the wall) to get to the spot he's in, and an attack. If the spiders are actually on the ceiling (which I'm assuming is out of reach), he'll ready this attack instead for the moment one of them comes into reach. Edmund is in ectoplasmic form.

"Oho, I've been called worse and called people worse. Hells, I've paid people to call me worse. In the right circumstances, it can be quite...invigorating." Edmund smirks.

"I hope you don't think I'm going to spend my whole afternoon digging that out," Edmund snarls, though Ella ignores him.
