The Coat:
This black denim trench coat has fine copper wire inlays stitched into strange patterns. Through detection of magnetic force and bio-electrical pulses, the coat infers a semi-precognitive sense upon Eddie. Allowing him to avoid hits that would otherwise harm him

Battery Ring:
A plain silver band with runic etchings that almost looks like a circuit diagram. Eddie wears this on the index finger of his left hand and it stores excess electrical energy that he passively emits. By thumbing at the "switch" symbol, the ring is activated causing one of two effects usable 3 times a session.
Discharge Internally:Taking the power of the ring into himself, Eddie gains the AMPED UP temporary aspect.
Discharge Externally: The ring may be treated as a Weapon:3 item for one attack using Fists skill.
Background:
Born into a well known family, it was almost comical when I started to exhibit signs of electricity at 15. Unfortunately my overly superstitious grandmother failed to see the humor in the situation and publicly disowned me. Fortunately I had some friends willing to help me out, even if they thought it was a temporary thing. Leeches, all of them trying to worm their way into my family's bank accounts.
Most of my problems seemed to go away with a liberal use of plastic. The banks are calling, but it's funny how the phone always gives out when I'm upset. Helps that I don't stay one place too long either. I always find a way to get the money back though, even if it's though use of my unique talents. A job here, shorting out a security system there, things were going great until we hit a place using ghouls as guards. Soon after I was contacted by the Paranet whom I laughed at a great deal for claiming vampires are real. Alternatively a man able to produce frightening amounts of electricity with enough concentration must have firm roots in science. Right? Damn them for not sending me through school before giving me the boot.
Rising Conflict:
Being ignorant on the matter while the clawed things that go bump in the night try to rip my face off, as a rule, doesn't sit well with me. Once bitten, twice shy, and five times.... all right vampires exist damn it. It's like the paranet was sending them after me to educate me on the matter for laughing at them. I tried to give them a chance, but when candle floaters acted superior just because I asked about possible applications of garlic, I couldn't deal with the hypocrisy. Why should I care about a war between wizards and vamps? Can't Merlin and Gandalf take care of the issue themselves?
That's when they took my cousin Radomir. They may want nothing to do with me but it's my family. The storm that night may have fueled my power, or may have been a byproduct of my wrath, but I could see the energy of everything. I stormed that warehouse. Coiled my hatred of those that would harm my family, and rained lightning down upon the shocked vampires.
When the haze cleared, I was approached by two men wearing grey cloaks. I was still disoriented, but they said something about knocking them over while they were stalking this den.
First Story Featuring Zoe Campbell: Alternating Current:
With debts due, and friendships running thin. Emotional teen Eddie Tesla Must face accusations of murder when a New York subway train goes haywire. Who is the mysterious woman chasing him, and why does she turn into a lioness? How will he catch the real killer when chased by; a vigilante, a cabal of ghouls, Detroit's Finest and worst of all Self Doubt.

Cold and new to the streets of Detroit, Eddie Tesla seeks hospice in a seemingly abandoned hotel. However, in a city at such a state of decay, darker things than he knows lurk. For two nights he is haunted by troubling nightmares, but on the third a strange man appears to him in his dreams asking for help while backed by rhythmic beats. He wakes and assumes it was just an odd dream but the beating continues.
Curiously, he explores the hotel trying to find the source of the rhythm. When he opens the door he sees a man, the same one from his dream, locked in a cage and a creature that smells of death pouring over an old leather bound tome. A fight broke out but Eddies stunning shock had no effect on it. For the first time, he had to resort to lethal force to even survive.
Guest Star for Sasha Mau:
Almost out of his teens and Twenty Grand in the hole with a loan shark on his heels, Eddie Tesla is coerced to play the part of surveillance breaker in a museum heist. With a sponsor steeped in shadow, Eddie meets his new team consisting of troll blooded changeling Quaggle: the safe cracker, exotically beautiful infiltrator: Sasha Mau, and the driver known only as Slim. Sparks fly and tempers flare in a dispute over how to handle the living guards. Can Eddie find a way to avoid bloodshed, or will the troll get his way.
