So I found a group to join but in order to do so they want me to runa a game for there high level(20)MYTHIC(7)characters. So MYTHIC(9)Lich(20)is the big bad. Two Questions 1. if his phylactery is destroyed BEFORE they down him, is he then destoryed or do they still gotta kill him. I ask because they text dosn't state this. (An integral part of becoming a lich is the creation of the phylactery in which the character stores his soul. The only way to get rid of a lich for sure is to destroy its phylactery. Unless its phylactery is located and destroyed, a lich can rejuvenate after it is killed.) (Rejuvenation (Su)When a lich is destroyed, its phylactery (which is generally hidden by the lich in a safe place far from where it chooses to dwell) immediately begins to rebuild the undead spellcaster's body nearby. This process takes 1d10 days—if the body is destroyed before that time passes, the phylactery merely starts the process anew. After this time passes, the lich wakens fully healed (albeit without any gear it left behind on its old body), usually with a burning need for revenge against those who previously destroyed it.) Question 2. Say his phylactery was destroyed once apon a time, He got away and decided not gonna let that happen again. Crazy thought Custom Adamantine Golem phylactery !!! (lol that will show them, Mythic level bs)
I have a player who wants to make an advanced version of this stone using the "Pathfinder Chronicles Seekers of Secrets" info np there. My question is can this push his caster level beyond his total level or only up to his max. (Please site any ruling with page numbers as he is a rules munchkin & I hate just saying DM says NO !)
The trait reads " Adopted - You were adopted and raised by someone not of your actual race, and raised in a society not your own. Benefit: You picked up a race trait from your adoptive parents and society, and may immediately select a race trait from your adoptive parents’ race." So say I was adopted by a dwarf & wanted the Slow & Steady (witch reads Slow and Steady: Dwarves have a base speed of 20 feet, but their speed is never modified by armor or encumbrance.)race trait could i get it & if so is my speed now 20' or the base for my race? |
