About Dunkren
Dunkren was raised in the Taldan port of Cassomir. His parents were fishermen and routinely grew oysters so they could sell the pearls to the Arcanamirium's magic users. Dunkren didn't like fishing, rather he very much enjoyed reading and studying the mysteries of fire magic. Dunk didn't know it, but when he turned 14 years old he discovered that he had a natural affinity for the magical arts. His great-grandfather was the only other Flamebringer in the family tree, and he was a very powerful mage.
On the eve of his 18th birthday, a docent of the largest and oldest school in Absalom, The Arcanamirium, came to interview Dunkren. They had heard of his dedication to knowledge and self-enlightenment, and his extraordinary magical abilities. After witnessing the surprising potential that Dunkren possessed, they extended an invite to attend the greatest school of magic in all of Golarion. Dunkren's life would forever change.
