And survey says...: 1d20 ⇒ 16 No gun, and in fact you're more then a little disappointed at first to just see clothes. However, hidden under the peasant garb are two decks of cards- one regular, one marked -and bag of 20 gp worth of mixed coinage. You have a feeling any guns likely wouldn't be kept in the personal effects of the guardsman, but in the armory.

MORE LOOT: 1d20 ⇒ 13 While one still refuses to bow to your mad skills, the other relent's it's treasure. This may be where some of the guards, and Blackerly himself, were. A traveler's outfit, a finely made pipe with a good supply of high quality shag tobacco in the second. A bottle of fine whiskey- smoky, peaty with just a hint of sweetness when she takes a sip -without a label in the third. A silver holy symbol of Mitra and a Mitran holy book in the forth. And finally, a changing of peasant clothes in the last chest.

The the next room is surprisingly better kept, though not by much. A fancy bed is in one end of the room, with a dresser nearby. There's a table with two chairs set up, and a small chest. Tee floor has some animal skin rugs, though you can tell at a glance that they wouldn't be worth much. The real issue... is when Snog looks up at the walls. Nearly every inch of it is covered in plaques displaying various trophies, a disturbingly large amount of them seem preserved penises. It's very disturbing honestly. A rather large empty plaque hands above the bed, as if it was want to be the centerpiece of the macabre decoration, though he name is illegible from the doorway. Snog's Akys is on the table, and appears to be surrounded by nut shells.

Besides the guards, the simple room has a few cots and a dozen locked chests throughout it.

The door bursts on open with that hit. The room revealed is dingy and cluttered. There's a large desk littered with paper, weeks old dishes, and small metal frog toys. A single chair sits in front of it, the very surface of it just makes you think a fort check is needed to sit down. There's another door to the far side of the room.

The first seems to be a common spell component bag full of various things worth less then a gold piece, though there are clothes in there enough for each PC, and somehow sized to fit them. The other, Randel can instantly tell from the small clinks inside, is full of dangerous chemicals. He estimates that it's enough for his mutagens, bombs, and extracts for just a single day.
