My pay for my life is my computer. My life is topsy turvy to the point that wife had career and enough stuff has happened that I am home 95% of the time it seems. I have my sister's kids (going to court hopefully next month to make permanent) and so ready for the either to all be mid teenagers or older so I don't have to worry about being at home to take care of anything.
I have not played any APs and even if I played then most I would do is ready. I have played First Steps for PFS twice and totally different games and stories and a friend who has like 6 times said it is different with every GM. Easy to play dumb for the most part if one enjoys playing I would hope and not out to win Duilure is looking up after hearing the blast and sees the butterflies. He wonders if there is some stage magician doing a children's show. Wonder if those are real or illusion? I bet if they are real then that must be an impressive butterfly house the person has.
Ryuko:
Duilure is very interested in trying to sleep in the ruins. He is very dedicated to his research. I am posting farther along after I get my answer from the guard. Duee is very interested in the ruins now but nothing can be done at the moment. With the focus he has at dig sites, Duee is on the search for the rare discovery. Without someone to make him stop as his mother did then he will go till he collapses. He seems almost greedy about learning more. He makes his was to the dragon races. Excuse me. How does this work? What brought about the dragon races? Were there ever dragons here? Is it just a fascination with dragons that most have? The Old Light was an interesting story and game. Do all the games have stories like that? Duee asks all this without a breath and stops. Then suddenly remembering to breath, Duee sucks in a few deep gulps of air blushes. Sorry, I just really am searching for old and interesting stories as I play the games today.
I am good with moving forward. Actually description of the games is all I really need. Duilure is not worried about much but finding stories that might lead to research about Thassilon. Really? Haunted? And you tried sleeping right there? Duilure points at the spot and squints. I am more curious now. Will you be on duty long? I will wander around some but curious on with it being guarded if I might pay a silver to try sleeping there. That sounds like a great story. Duilure looks at the guard to see his reaction. He is really curious on what might cause that. He is almost antsy with finding out. I would not show back up till tonight after dinner if allowed to. I am willing to not go any farther than where you or another guard could see my bedroll. Duee has pulled out some paper and making some notes on them. He actually is squatting so it is clear if anyone looks that he is writing the information he recieved.
Duee looks back up at guard as he stands back up. He is waiting for an answer before he heads off to the Dragon Races.
Duilure pulls out his paper and takes some notes. He thanks the dwarf and says he will try the game once. He was polite enough that playing the game should be fine. Duee puts away his paper and pays the coins. Catapult:
Shot 1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Shot 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13 Shot 3: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12 He is impressed with the catapult. It looks like impressive work. Thank you again good sir. I have to say the workmanship on the catapults makes them fun to use. Have a good day. Duee grabs his pack and heads down the hill. Sounds like the lighthouse could be interesting to investigate.
Hmmm? Cliffs. Which direction is that? Duee starts to look around and spots the cliffs. Thank you good sir and one too many of what? My mother seems to have left out a few details about dealing with these people. I think she should have let me go into towns a little more often with her. Or did I refuse to keep studying? I can't remember but they say strange things Duee starts off towards the cliffs. He stops and gets a drink at one of the vendors on his way up.
Duilure spends a few moments reading the sign. He frowns at the list. These are not the stories he was looking for. The one that seems most likely to have people chatting would the Lighthouse game as he figures it takes time to reload them. Excuse me please. Where would the Lighthouse game be located? He asks while still staring at the sign with a frown and hand under chin with finger on his lips.
@Charon - Where else would I hide? I am here for learning not for bashing heads. Moving cover means harder for things to sneak up on me. Will see how things go but am willing to do the alchemist dip if we need. Gets me the cures and if I go Chirurgeon then my cure lights would be infused plus I would have the ability to make them. Would only be helpful at start but would be something.
Talli, I did not notice that. I was just going with stories and not reading other people's characters. Sorry not to have been back sooner. First time in over a week that I slept more than 4 hours. Hope no one has any objections to infernal healing. At least till someone can find or make some wands. I am new to Pathfinder still so don't really know anything about the basics. Guess I need to read how to use Scribe Scroll. I don't have a spell called Shell at the moment. Why do I need to be outside it?
I am fine with it being a how everything started as well. I am stalking these boards since I found them earlier in week. I have been sick and was at one point not sleeping so was just hitting refresh for the browser. Will be more than happy to answer the question when we get going. I had already thought about it.
Ok, thanks for the opportunity to play this. I will say that I will try my best to post every day but the 10th and 11th might be short as I am going to a convention 9-12. I will have morning to early afternoon Thursday and Sunday will be that evening. Not saying won't have chance on those days just not sure when. This is my first game doing this. Will be thankful to any help to do better.
Goblins seem to be hated but doesn't offer me anything for my research other than trouble The charcoal used to do little doodles around edge of the paper. A small piece of raw fish and some of whatever stew and water, please. Thank you, ma'am. Duee hopes the food is good. A cook is not something he has learned to be yet. Guess I will have to look for somewhere to sleep soon. Still might get lucky and hear an old one or legend for the area.
Hmmmm.... I don't know where.... Duee tries to find a place out of the way. He finds a barrel outside to sit on so he doesn't get shoved all over the place. This is not working. Wonder where the storytelling is going to be? I guess will have to find someplace to get some food in a bit. Wonder if there any place has fresh sticky buns? Duee leans back against the wall. A small head sticks out from his collar when he starts to doodle on the barrel with the charcoal. He reaches up absently to scratch under the otter's chin. We will find some treats in a bit, Chute. I am hoping to see the crowd shrink a little at some point.
Still waiting to see if Duilure is approved but want to participate a little Duilure's perks up at hearing the word story.
