my 2 cents. I am currently playing a quick to fight/die game. atm, i am playing a lvl 10 goblin wizard. his main stat IS dex, secondary is Int. dex is currently 28, int 20 (which means he can cast all his spells ultimately. I even used point buy for him. He is spec'd Divination
his intiative at lvl 10 is 17
his stealth at lvl 10 is 43 (yes, i took skill focus, ring of chameleon, racial bonus, size bonus, dex bonus) so as it is NOT a class skill, i consider a +43 decent :) I am a pure support WIZ, ban'd evoc even. we have 1 guy who took a single lvl in rogue for the ability to disarm magical traps, but to be honest it isn't needed. I really feel rogue is a weak class compared to others. especially a wiz

so i decided to try and beef up a eidolon. math was as follows
quadruped 14 str, lvl 20 +8 str, +3 base abil increase, +16 str Huge size, +8 evolution abil increase = 49 (51 if biped)
which then lead me to carry capacity for quad
44736 lbs= light
134400 lbs= heavy
403200 lbs= cast ant haul
??? = how much would it be if u cast enlarge person on it? making it gargantuan, i think the str bonus doubles again to a +32 but not sure, if so would be 65 quadruped (67 biped)
817152 lbs= light
2457600 lbs= heavy
7372800 lbs = ant haul which would be 3686.4 tons (US)
also at lvl 20 u can become a physical copy of ur eidolon, so together (for only 20 min) u could carry 14,745,600 lbs together

I want a kukri that is keen. on creation, how much gold will it cost?

Kukri = 8g
Masterwork = 300g
+1 bonus = 2000g
Keen = +1 bonus (which my gm says would cost 8308g)

thing is i don't want the +1... lol, i just want keen, but the book confuses me on if i MUST have both, and if so is it paying 2000g twice (4k) or just 8000g outright.

i thought i remembered a fiery wep in 3.5 only costing 2000g

Touch AC is a catch 22 for a fighter. yes it sucks for him, but they have to touch him... which means u get to swing ur wep. the goal of a fighter is to deal big enough melee dmg to keep aggro, not be a walking tank. if u do sword and board, make sure u ride the two weapon fighting fast track. if u do 2h (my fav) get imp crit and crit focus. if u want to stay at a distance and avoid some messy touch ac fighter makes a great archer.

big thing in my opinion is that u aren't the healer, so accept that u will take dmg and move on

also, wearing plate means u are the skill bank, so accept it and move on.

also, if u meet a wraith, remember ur fort save is nice and move on.

PPS, as for a deep water, any bag of holding has in theory 10 min of air. hop in and let someone else do the work

arcane archer prestige class = win. if the cleric was able to scry target, then his phase arrow can't miss if within range. just saying

+17 stealth check at level one is a bit insane. Still does not keep them alive if found way out front all alone. But gods they make sneaky rogues

sorry, but i believe that is only if they have a 20 dex at lvl 1(with a +4 that is possible, but not likely to find wandering about

Hm... looks like goblins aren't as good at math as they are at sneaking...

4 + 4 + 4 = 12

dex score of 4 = +2 stealth skill, but good job on that arythmetic

so i was looking up alternate races and goblins get a natural +10 to stealth. 4 size, 4 racial, and 4 dex. so why is it that i've never met sneaky goblins? they are always talking and noisy

I refuse to believe that clerics are broken or op. i've played a pathfinder core cleric for almost a year now and am almost lvl 10. (sloooow progression /wrists) one day i decided to say F it, everyone had healing potions, i was gonna go on the offensive. so i prepared spells like bull str, righteous might, divine power, anything and anything to make me a contender. here was the experience i had

first encounter, as part of a trial 2 large earth elementals and 1 huge EE rise from the floor in front of us. all the dps has imp init and good dex scores, so i tend to go last. turn 1, i cast righteous might. (they all got their charges and hit).

round 2, they drop the first EE (have 6 pure dps in party) among the dps 1 guy looks bad, maybe half hp, and one looks awful, about 1/4 hp left. so round 2 i cast divine power!!!

round 3, they ask me to heal them... and swarm the other large EE. i pop a channel energy since 4 of em look pretty beat up. i do get up to the 2nd EE by now at least.

round 4, they down EE2 and move on huge EE. i charge and with my new size i reach over them and strike. MY FIRST HIT OF ENCOUNTER.

a few rounds later i get to attack twice more, and have to heal once more. the dmg i did was far less then any of them

next example. my cleric is a sun/fire domain and therefore have a good amount of fire domain spells to choose from. we encounter some major undead and i shine. kickin butt and taking names. i cast fire wall around party cutting off the waves attacking us. and the wraiths float over/ under wall and own a couple ppl. stuck using the lesser restorations i was lucky enough to prepare. so BBEG (big bad evil guy) pops up, flies over wall, and has gaze attacks, is out of reach of everyone and only dies due to a game mechanic where in a party member surrenders himself to a chaotic lightning demon and almost toasts party.

against undead, we do well, others, not so much. the issue with self buffs is in most cases u don't buff b4 u open every door, they don't last that long. so u are stuck using ur first X rounds buffing. by then the fun is over. i sure as hell don't feel OP

thx for the list. question, how possible is it for a goblin to stop being evil and join regular society? won't most ppl attack on sight?

hey guys, i'm wondering what alternate races pathfinder has released for PC's that are player friendly conversions.

I know about Tieflings, and Aasimar but can't bring myself to look through every page of the Bestiary to find out what other options there are. Am wanting to stick to PF source

where can i find the feat divine metamagic?
