So I'm the DM for my group and we have been doing giantslayer, but I've hit a major roadblock in book3 and am looking for input and/or ideas from ya'll.

In the valley my group found the gate encounter and manged to kill one giant and the two tigers, but the other giant fled to warn the encampment. After a short rest they went thru the gate and found the camp on high alert and way too many to fight (minus some cheese, that might work, but will leave one PC with the dragon's share of XP). They decided to go to a nearby dwarven settlement and warn them of the horde there.
As it stands they don't see the value in taking on the horde there or in willingly committing suicide, so any ideas one how to rectify the situation...? I'll try to answer any question or give more info if requested, thanks

SO been reading up on the spell permanency, but i see flat costs for no reason, is it because of the line Depending on the spell, you must be of a minimum caster level and must expend a specific gp value of diamond dust as a material component"? Cause on the services page enlarge person is 1x1x10=10gp + permanency which is 9x5x10=450, so where is the other listed 2040 of the 2500 cost coming from? I have searched and see absolutely no info on it, Links to teh info will be greatly appreciated, thanks

SO in my current campaign(I'm DM) I have a fight coming up and have 4of my enemies built, but am struggling on the 5th one. So I came here hoping ya'll might lend me something different or unique.

So build limits: 8th level, no 3rd party anything, theme is evil power ranger(lol), already built party is a bolt ace gunslinger, a rogue(may change to slayer), a goliath druid, and a cross blooded bloodrager using shield brace and stand still. If ya have more questions or thought I'll respond when i can, otherwise have fun and stay safe.

So for my campaign I'm working on, the group will be being chased by a boulder.
They will be around lvl 3 and it shall be one at a time, as the idea is in reference to a crash bandicoot level(lol).
I've read the chase rules and plan to have an item they can use to buff for the checks.
I would prefer it be one type of check with varying DCs. Needing help in balancing the buff item to make it possible for all to complete without massive retries, and to get the DCs doable for the checks.

SO I was wondering with this spellbreaker Inquisitor I'm building, it says at 3 i get to chooses a wiz school. Well one of the wiz schools are universalist. If I took that wouldn't that mean i get a +1 to all wiz schools saves...? Am finding nothing that states ya can't.

does the "and" mean you need both or not?

So I'll be doing a 1 shot dungeon with my group and one is going to try out a druid and wild shaping. I understand it for the most part but need clarification on the size when wild shaping.
1. if the druid is medium and say wants to shift into a Dinosaur, Deinonychus(aka a raptor) which is a medium animal, do they stay as that animal's size or can they make it large?
any other tips are helpful thanks

In regards to Teamwork feats like shield wall and shake it off.

So I'm in a campaign that will probably go past lvl 20 and I was wondering what the damage scaling would be on the unarmed strike. (side info am large in size and have the increased unarmed strike from brother of the seal, so my fists are treated as if they are huge...)thanks in advance
