Drake was raised by a family of farmers that had discovered him as an infant laying abandoned near Ashwood. They raised him as one of their own, never knowing of this until he was 13 by his own self discovery.
Growing up he had an odd obsession with the Ashwoods, he had felt as if they were calling him, begging him to go there. But despite his many attempts of try his parents openly refused to let him go to the cursed forest, warning him of the main dangers that await inside. He was not deterred however, this instead infatuated his need to go to the forest even more.
Many a years had gone by without any attempts to try and enter the woods, need slowly building up pressure on him as they passed, reaching it breaking point on his 13th birthday. He had a go there was no option in doing so. The called had nearly drove mad with anticipation. So after hastily completing his chores, he snuck off to forest willing to accept the punishment for this once he returned
Apon on arriving near Ashwood he began to feel a sense belonging, as if this was home too and he could feel it wanted him home. He could feel as if something buried deep down inside of him had been unburied the moment he touch his first tree entering. Electricity of everything was cut short however as he heard rustling of bushes close to him. but before he could investigate, a large canine had leap out of the brush close to him and charged. At that moment he felt the electricity inside of him burst out, shocking the animal and scaring it off. Had no idea what happened nor what he did. as he tried to put his hands side he quickly noticed after poking him self that had sharpened to fine points, disappearing quickly after.
He had rushed home, his real home, not regarding the forest any longer as the called had disappeared with the beast. He was quickly reveled the truth of his origins by his parents. He was shocked by the information but in the end he felt as if he known too but didn't want to think about it. He spent the next 5 years learning what he could and trying to master it. He'd eventually found minor work hunting beast of the nature that brought him his power, and studying them as he studied him self. Leaving to find more work that could help him better understand him self
