Shield Block R> Trigger While you have your shield raised, you would take physical damage (bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing) from an attack. You snap your shield in place to ward off a blow. Your shield prevents you from taking an amount of damage up to the shield's Hardness. You and the shield each take any remaining damage, possibly breaking or destroying the shield.
Reactive Strike R> Trigger A creature within your reach uses a manipulate action or a move action, makes a ranged attack, or leaves a square during a move action it’s using. You lash out at a foe that leaves an opening. Make a melee Strike against the triggering creature. If your attack is a critical hit and the trigger was a manipulate action, you disrupt that action. This Strike doesn’t count toward your multiple attack penalty, and your multiple attack penalty doesn’t apply to this Strike.
Call on Ancient Blood R> Trigger You attempt a saving throw against a magical effect, but you haven’t rolled yet; Effect Your ancestors’ innate resistance to magic surges before slowly ebbing down. You gain a +1 circumstance bonus to saving throws on the triggering save and other saves against magical effects until the end of this turn.

Double Slice >> Requirements You are wielding two melee weapons, each in a different hand. You lash out at your foe with both weapons. Make two Strikes, one with each of your two melee weapons, each using your current multiple attack penalty. Both Strikes must have the same target. If the second Strike is made with a weapon that doesn't have the agile trait, it takes a –2 penalty. If both attacks hit, combine their damage, and then add any other applicable effects from both weapons. You add any precision damage only once, to the attack of your choice. Combine the damage from both Strikes and apply resistances and weaknesses only once. This counts as two attacks when calculating your multiple attack penalty.

Background: (Clan Associate)

Balor and Drakan are brothers who hail from the Sky Citadel of Kraggodan. They were raised primarily by their maternal grandmother after both of their parents perished in the Shining Crusade

Their father Drogan, was a formidable war priest of Torag who went missing during the Battle of Istavala Vale. Subsequently, and against her families wishes, their mother Janna went in search of her husband. She was lost when the ship she was on was attacked by an omox called "Jobox, the Corruption Contained" and sank on Lake Encarthan.

Drakan, the younger brother, has always resented his mother for leaving them. Balor forgave his mother and followed in his father's footsteps becoming a warrior priest of Torag like him.

The resemblance of the two brothers is unmistakable. The two of them are usually thought to be twins. They are typical dwarves in pretty much every way. Dark black hair and full beards, neatly braided, with brown eyes adorning their dwarven features. The only clearly distinguishing mark between them is a jagged scar on Drakan's face. The result of one of many altercations growing up.

There is also the manner of their dress to set them apart. Whereas Balor's clothes, armor and weapons are all neat and polished, his holy symbol emblazoned upon his breastplate. Drakan in contrast, while keeping his possessions in a serviceable state, clearly does make the same effort as his brother. His armor and weapons clearly show the distress of constant use.

Similarly, their personalities are quite different. Balor is calm, respectful and pragmatic while Drakan is excitable, brash and free-spirited. Balor aspires to rise through the ranks of the priesthood of Torag and dwarven society in general while Drakan wants to make a name for himself as a notable warrior and live life to excess.

Although they are dissimilar in many ways, they are inseparable and would rather die than let the other suffer in any way.

The two brothers also adore their grandmother Ohgrit, and it is her, and her extended family that has ties to Highhelm. Ohgrit was born in Highhelm before moving to Kraggodan where she served as an officer in the citadel's defense forces in her youth. Despite losing an arm fighting off an incursion of Belkzen orcs, she served admirably until her retirement was necessary to raise her grandsons. She is primarily responsible for most of the brothers' martial training. In fact, it is Ohgrit's own family clan dagger that Drakan carries.
