"Yes, I have a feeling I won't be reciting that story any time soon." Dorsera says with a chuckle. "I have a feeling Binjion does not agree with our comical view of the battle though."

Sitting down next to a tree Dorsera huffs, "I have never been attacked by a cauldron before, that was interesting. Thank Milani that is over." She then takes out her waterskin and a ration, beginning to eat.

I am. Sorry for the light posting (though I am not the only one it seems). I am in the middle of changing jobs and a busy couple of weeks.

Dorsera swings again, lost in the fury of battle.

Attack 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22 Damage 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Crit Confirm 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22 Damage 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Crazy rolls. Not sure if it is critable.

Dorsera sees the cauldron spit Binjion onto the floor unconscious and rage fills her heart. "You will harm no more of my companions!"

Attack 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19 Damage 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Dorsera starts frantically trying to think of something that will have some effect. She then takes a step back and recites a quick prayer to Milani while grasping her holy symbol "Defender of freedom, please grant this weapon your grace and power." Dorsera's morningstar begins to glow.

Do I need to take a 5 foot step back or more? Didn't know because it is grappling. cast Magic Weapon.

Dorsera tosses her crossbow to the floor of the cottage and draws her morningstar moving up to bash the cauldron. "Hold on Binjion, we will get you free!"

Draw morningstar and 5 foot step then Attack 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13 Damage 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Hearing the cauldron come to life and make an attempt at attacking Daegan, Dorsera draws her crossbow and lets a bolt fly toward the cauldron.

Initiative 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23, Draw Crossbow and attack 1d20 ⇒ 12 damage 1d8 ⇒ 4

"It seems we have found what we came for. Best we leave soon, who knows what the witch has setup for trespassers." Dorsera wearily denotes, walking back toward the destroyed door.

Ready, sorry for the nonexistent posting.

"By the look, I would say this is the witch's humble abode. Shall we see if she has any rat tail?" Dorsera comments as she walks toward the unkempt hut.

"I agree with Deelin. The town cannot wait very long. People are perishing as we rest. I say we move on." Dorsera adds to Deelin's comment with a look of sadness growing on her face.

If rest is not required yet let's move on. I still have a couple good spells left and haven't used any channels.

"I am happy that beast is finally dead. Let me help search for the moss."

Perception 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

Dorsera again rears back swinging the morningstar high above her head and
attempting to bring it crashing down on the beasts head.

Attack 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15 Damage 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Seeing that Torillan is ok for now, Dorsera draws her morningstar and attempts to bash the wyrm like creature.

Attack (1d20+1=20) Damage (1d8+1=2)

On Dorsera's Initiative:

Seeing the wyrm-like creature tear through Torillan's flesh, Dorsera recites a quick prayer to Milani then moves up to try and counter the wounds.

Cast Cure Light Wounds 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 and move up to touch Torillan.

Dorsera stands in awe at the beauty and size of the ancient tree. Just as she looks up the scaly creature pounces on Torillan, tearing his flesh with it's claws.

Initiative 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

Invisible Castle down once again.

Seeing Binjion clearly refuse the bird, Dorsera will also offer her share to anyone who wants it, then will settle down by the fire and eat a ration. Looking over to Deelin "I am hoping for a relatively uneventful night. I could use the rest."

What progression are we using again? I forgot.

"I will take first watch if you will take second Binjion."

"This is as good place as any to rest Deelin. Let us make camp and eat."

I will use channel energy to heal Torillan. Channel Energy (1d6=3), Channel Energy (1d6=6)

"Catch your breath, we should keep moving as soon as possible." Dorsera says as she pats Torillan on the shoulder.

What time of day is it Darkmoon Valer?

After seeing the last crow drop, Dorsera makes her way over to Torillan's side. "How badly are you injured my friend?" She asks.

How many hit points are you down after my 6 point channel Torillan?

Dorsera looses a bolt toward one of the large crows, praying to strike true.

Crossbow attack 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21 Damage 1d8 ⇒ 4
Crit Confirm 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12 Extra Damage 1d8 ⇒ 1 Includes Bless

Seeing Torillan getting attacked by the birds, Dorsera grabs her holy symbol and focuses her positive energy into a burst to try and counter the wounds.

Channel Energy 1d6 ⇒ 6

I don't believe any are injured, but if the birds are then I will selective channel out those ones. Also, Invisible Castle is down.

Forgot the Bless. Though I believe it doesn't matter.

Seeing the Hobgoblin descend from his post in the tree and try to escape, Dorsera will move north and fire a bolt at him.

Crossbow Attack (1d20=8, 1d8=5)

Dorsera quickly grabs the fox from Deelin and a pale light pours from her hand into the creature (Cure Light Wounds (1d8+1=6)). After setting the fox on the ground, Dorsera draws her crossbow and shifts into a stance to fire.

"Who is firing on us?" She asks, seeing the arrow fly by.

Initiative (1d20+3=4)

I figured the stuff I did in the post above was my turn. Let me know if you think otherwise. On to round 2.

According to the rules any character with a base attack bonus of +1 can draw a weapon as part of a move action for free.
Quick Draw (Combat)
Normal: Without this feat, you may draw a weapon as a move action, or (if your base attack bonus is +1 or higher) as a free action as part of movement. Without this feat, you can draw a hidden weapon as a standard action.

Initiative (1d20+3=4)

"Deelin, if you can get it out of the trap, I can patch it up."

"Looks like we should head for the eldest tree first. Lets get moving then." Dorsera replies to Deelin's presentation of his items. She then follows him out of the camp.

"It looks like we have what we need. Thank you Milon." Dorsera thanks Milon with a bow.

She then turns to the rest of the group. "We should head out soon. If you need to make any preparations, please do it now."

"It would be much appreciated if you could scribe us some form of map to these places. As for the rat tail, Laurel said Ulizmila may have one. Wherever her hut is."

"Sorry to take you from your duties Milon, but we need some information that we were told you possess." Dorsera addresses Milon politely. Looking over at Daegan. "Daegan, you prepared a list, correct? We must speak of the locations."

Diplomacy 1d20+7=23

In Dwarven
"Milani teaches me to give no quarter to these kind of men. I will not suffer their ignorance much longer. If a fight is inevitable, then let them come." Dorsera speaks sternly without turning from the men.

"Do we have a problem loggers?" Dorsera asks, glaring at the men.

"We must speak with Milon Rhodam. We were told he could be found here." Dorsera answers commandingly, knowing these are some of the men the sheriff met with her about.

"Lacore is right, to the lumber camp." Dorsera follows after Lacore until he turns around at the door, she then sidesteps him and exits.

With a slight bow to Laurel, "Thank you, we shall meet with Milon Rhodam. Do you know where we can find him?"

"It appears we have everything covered. By Milani's grace we were granted such informed and prepared friends." Dorsera comments looking at Daegan quickly scribe the list and listening to Binjion's knowledge of the ingredients and their past use.

"We may need a rough map. Laurel, do you know anyone who may quickly sketch one of the known area?"

"I fear if we take to long, we will lose more lives. We must make haste."

Almost immediately after dismissing the group, Laurel yells out, "Wait!" She beckons the party back to her. "Wait a minute! Actually, there is something I could use help with." Laurel waits to see if she has everyone's attention. "There's a recipe I've yet to try because I don't have the ingredients. Perhaps you can gather them for me."

"We are at your service Laurel. Make us a list with possible locations and we will gather them as fast as possible." Dorsera replies to Laurel's request with a smile on her face.

Beginning to feel a little frustrated, Dorsera looks at Lacore and mumbles. "Thanks." Turning back to Laurel "I know these a hard times, but we are trying to make it better for all. If you have any information or know of anyone else in the area that might, I beg of you to let us do what was asked of us."

Diplomacy 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26

Invisible Castle down again.

"We have no problem Laurel." Dorsera replies quickly. "We were sent to you in regards to the "taint". We have been commissioned to find a cure." Seeing how high strung Laurel is, Dorsera offers her a seat. "Take a short break, you look like you are at wits end."

Cool, good to have you aboard. Now I remember him saying something about a friend. :)

Giving the man and his children a look of compassion, Dorsera speaks unwaveringly. "My compatriots and I have no time for lines, we have been given a task to find you a true cure and not a mask for your symptoms. We were told Laurel may know the best places to find the ingredients. We wish no ill will towards you, we are only here to help." Dorsera places her hand on the man's shoulder "Please sir."

Is this a PC or a DMPC? Just wondering as I couldn't find any post in the threads. Sorry, not trying to be nosy.

I used the Paizo dice roller in my post, I will use Invisible castle from now on. I missed that post.

After her meeting with Sheriff Daeldrin Baleson about the lumber consortium, Dorsera makes her way to “Roots and Remedies”, the shop where Baleson had recommended she start her search.

As she makes her way around the low market she spots the continuously growing line coming from the shop. ”Looks like most of us have already made it here.” Dorsera mumbles. Recognizing a few of the faces she was acquinted with for finding the cure she steps to the side of the line and speaking loudly. ”A few good men and I have been given the mission of finding a cure for this taint. I vow we will return with what you seek. May Milani's grace be with you.” After announcing this to the crowd, Dorsera walks to the front of the line and enters the shop.

Good to go. I may add some detail to her description later, but her mechanics and background are done.

Couple more things, but she is pretty much done. Will finish today.
