Background and Quirks:

1.) Anzir is a tall, lithe, dark skinned Vudrani man with a thick head of black hair and a beard which he keeps neatly groomed whenever possible.

2.) Anzir is fun loving and a bit of a prankster. His worship of Sun Wukong fits well with that character, though he generally limits his pranks to lighthearted joking, steering away from the crueler side of the Monkey King's character. Though should someone truly raise his ire, that could change...

3.) Anzir never learned a formal martial arts style, he depends on sheer talent and raw physical attributes to overpower enemies in combat, assaulting them with quick, merciless flurries of attacks rather than any sort of finesse. He likes to play around with his combat style as a result, imposing personal "challenges" on himself in a fight. "I will use only kicks" or "I will only aim for the opponent's left knee until the final strike" being examples.

4.) Anzir has never had a long term relationship. He drifts from place to place too often to form lasting connections, but does revel in the experience of meeting new people and befriending them. Quality over quantity is not a truism he has ever applied to his relationships.

5.) Anzir often forgets his true heritage, feeling himself to be essentially a human with some interesting physical features until something comes along to remind him (which isn't often).

6.) Anzir enjoys strong drink, and will take any opportunity to taste something new and see if it his worthy of his collection.

7.) Anzir enjoys brewing his own alcoholic beverages, and sharing them with others.

Goals:

1.) Anzir would like to one day create his own unique fighting style and pass it on to worthy disciples. Assuming he ever gains the patience required to actually teach.

2.) Anzir would like to meet his god, Sun Wukong. He feels he would be a fun deity to hang around with.

3.) Unlike most of the Sapphire Monkey order, Anzir would like to achieve enlightenment, but only to see exactly what all the fuss is about, not due to any real desire for or belief in self perfection.

Secrets:

1.) Anzir was originally born into the Opal Ghost monastic order, but escaped once he was old enough to realize their methods did not mesh with his morals, and joined the Sapphire Monkey afterward. He retains a bit of a mean streak from his time with them, and is ruthless in combat as a result.

2.) Anzir is unaware of exactly who either of his parents are, and is a bit ashamed of the fact.

Associates:

-Anzir was brought into the fold of the Sapphire Monkey clan by a master Shao Tien Shen, and they remain great friends to this day. Master Shen is the only authority figure Anzir will obey without question, knowing Shen always has his best interests at heart.

-Anzir is in an "open relationship" with Marie Redford, the owner of an inn in Magnimar.

-Anzir had a rival, and frenemy named Jan Cheng in the Opal Ghosts. When Anzir abandoned the order, Cheng swore he would prove the superiority of the Opal Ghosts sometime in the future, and that Anzir would regret leaving his "family" like this.
