Dominic replies to Vailic's comments. "Well, last year we didn't really have much to celebrate at festival time... people still had the Late Unpleasantness on their mind, and with the debate about who they'd bring in to run the Cathedral... people were still a bit off." He smiles. "I'm right glad they decided to promote Father Zantus, instead of bringing in some hoity-toity from Magnimar... it just wouldn'ta been right, with all Abstalar's done to help everyone get through... all that." His face darkens slightly, feeling wounds that thought five years distant still haven't healed.
