I'm super stoked for the advanced players guide with it's new classes and ancestries. I'm also hoping that it will come with an expanded weapons list. One weapon I especially I returns is my beloved Dwarven Longhammer. In 1E, it was one of the most powerful weapons you could get, 'dwarfed' only by the Butchering Axe or Orc Double Axe. I know other weapons like the Earthbreaker and Greatsword had comparable damage, but I liked that it was Dwarf specific, as the racial weapon proficiency let me, a dwarf, make it even more powerful than those weapons.
I hope the APG will bring back more of these ancestry specific weapons, because it was a really fun feeling to use a weapon others couldn't! I think specifically, it can have the same stats as warhammer, but give it Trip for its weapon trait instead of Shove. I think it make sense because dwarves are shorter than most creatures :)
