There are several different types of slaves, each with greatly varying cost. While the name may imply some differences, the description for slave is about 1 sentence long, very generic and mostly useless.
I'm building an Arquebusier@7th level. He's purchased 2 "Skilled Slaves" at 500gp each to run the ammo factory they carry in their horse-drawn wagon. I chose that over hirelings because they cost a lot and the name implies they are skilled and could somehow have in-game value.
My question is this: In what way can I best make use of 500gp of bullet makers? stats? game mechanics? bonus to craft:firearms? How would you go about solving this? Would it be too presumptuous to have them be 1st level arquebusiers with all their skill points in craft:firearms, or add 5 each to the number of cartridges per day I can make?
