About Diantha, the Floating

Diantha is calm, cool and calculating, looking at situations as an observer. While she has quite the sharp tongue, she rarely chimes in unless she's insulting, correcting or scorning someone. Of which is quite often. Diantha seems to have quite the princess complex, entitling her to delusions of superiority and grandiose selfishness and constantly floats around on her flying broom because, as quoted, "Walking is for the non miraculous."

Diantha hates everyone equally, starting off belligerent at most on a good day, but particularly hates it when people don't take her seriously. She has a habit of passing people notes of Sepia Snake Sigil and giving Bestow Curse handshakes. Both of which she does so proudly and without hesitation. The young woman also has quite the vindictive streak: when spurned, made fun of, or even if the person doesn't get affected by her curses, she will chase them to the ends of the earth to make sure they experience it tenfold.

Despite her hostile behavior and her fanatic obsession with curses, Diantha is not evil. Probably. She's more likely to curse people and leave them to it, fully knowing that they'll probably find a way to remove or dispel it eventually. Probably. She doesn't have it in her to torture a person to death, but she'd definitely curse them until they wish they had done what she wanted them to in the first place.

Diantha is also a fully capable merchant. If there's anything in the world she loves as much as curses, it's the cold hard lucre of a good sale. Her keen eye for appraisal leaves no question to the price of an item, and she makes well to buy for low, sell for much much much higher. While not the most personable person for the merchant life, Diantha is amazing at reading people like a children's book. She never tries to cheat or bully people out of money, and will typically go for the most fair deal possible, surprising most that had the misfortune to meet her.

With so much of her time being spent shop keeping, Diantha has been able to hone her ability for identifying relics, artifacts and magical items to a fine point. Due to her calm and cool nature, Diantha does not flinch for even a moment even when deadly spells and relics are being aimed right at her; she knows that magic, while wild and powerful, is not something to be dealt with without understanding it first. It is probably due to this that she's met first hand with many a blow, magical or physical, inadvertently improving her constitution.
