About Devlin Lufftin

Physical description: Devlin Lufftin is a man heading towards middle age. His black hair is just beginning to show the first signs of graying at the temples yet remains full and thick. Standing just shy of six feet, he is broad in the shoulders and trim at the waist from years of trying to perfect a combination strength and acrobatic show (neither of which he is actually any good at). His green eyes are described as dazzling and he has a constant crooked smile on his face, as if he is always finding the humor in life. Currently Devlin is outfitted for travel and appears ready to deal with anything that he may come upon.

Backstory: Devlin Lufftin comes from a decidedly middle class family in the city of Magnimar. His parents own a glassblowing shop, his sister is working as a dress maker, and his little brother is away currently attending one of the Oppara's many bardic colleges. Devlin, used to also be enrolled at a bardic college that is, until he finally failed out for the third time. You see Devlin wished to be a bard ever since he was a small child. The only problem is that he just didn’t have the talent for it. Oh, he tried hard to make a go of it time and again but just could never seem to grasp his dream. He did have, to his own astonishment, some magical talent but even that thus far has proven fairly limited. With his hopes dashed yet again, Devlin has decided to set out on the road to see if maybe he might be able to find that which he lacks and yet make his undying dream a reality.
