Just read that there was a Dragon issue devoted to the Game of Thrones setting. Does anyone know what issue number it was?

There's such a vast amount of material to draw upon that I'll be curious to see what they actually consider the 'best'.

IIRC, there was a preview of UA in Dragon that included the barbarian class. I'd *really* like to see that updated to 3.5. The current incarnation of the barbarian class is really more akin to a berserker than a barbarian. I loved the whole anti magic thing, even if the class was utterly broken :D

What are you hoping to see in the compendium?

Ok, awhile ago I put in my address to check out the minis shipping cost. Now that I've moved, I've found that I can't change the shipping address.

This wasn't a problem since again, I was only checking how much it'd cost me to get a few back-issues of Dungeon vs. buying them locally.

But now I actually want to buy something, and despite trying every which way I can think of, can't for the life of me change the damn shipping address.

Not much point in ordering something if it's never gonna show up...

Ok, ok... I know Erik just closed the other thread down and for good reason. I'm not trying to circumvent that or piss Erik off, so I'll just say a few things first to make everything clear.

Firstly, Erik, I'm sorry if this is annoying and obviously if you want to shut it down, no hard feelings.

Secondly, can we keep this civil guys? I'll even bite my tongue. This is a rare thing for me so take advantage of it :)

Thirdly, I'm not restarting the old thread, rather there was a particular post I found very interesting and really wanted to see some answers to, so if yah could, try and stay on that topic.

The post in question was this one, by Sublimity:

"I am curious, for those of you who feel the article is too verbose, would you mind giving us a sample paragraph from the article. To continue this little academic exercise, why not show us how you'd edit it if you were Mr. Greenwood's editor? Of course you'll need to make sure that the integrity of the information and purpose of the paragraph remains intact."

Obviously, don't post any of the actual article, as that would amount to copyright infringement I'm guessing. But rather, post your edited version. A paragraph will suffice.

Again, apologies is this is rubbing you the wrong way, Erik, I was just really curious to see some replies to the above challenge.

You people are no fun :(

I'm sure I posted this yesterday, but for the life of me I can't find the post...

I swear, this is the wierdest messageboard. I've posted several times in a particular thread only to have it be a reply in some other thread, or posted and had it return me to the store page and my post disappeared into the ether.

Get a real messageboard.

Oh, and on to the topic, can anyone recall which issues of Dungeon had the Greyhawk maps in them? I only ever managed to pick up one, but later this week I'll be hunting for the other three. Also, are they available as back issues?

Something I'm a bit confused over as I'm writing my module, is just how much 'hawk you can put into a module.

In particular, it says in the guidelines that you have to use the generic PHB gods, but they're Greyhawk gods. So is every generic adventure a Greyhawk one? But it also says that Dungeon sometimes prints Greyhawk adventures, so does this mean there's a difference between generic adventures and Greyhawk adventures?

My module can easily be adapted to another location with the backstory, so even though it has a lot of GH in it, it's still a flexible option. However, I'd like to include the worshipers of two gods that are specific to Greyhawk and not in the PHB (Xerbo and Zilchus). Does that mean it's a Greyhawk adventure, or a Generihawk adventure?

I'm confused.

Will Paizo ever reintroduce overseas subscriptions?

I'm trying to find a suitable undead type that will fit the following criteria:

Died heroically.
Continues to enact duty.
Powerful enough to subdue a CR 7ish arcane casting crypt spawn.

There can be multiple of them so they don't necessarily have to be CR 7ish themselves.

A Spectral Guardian/Minion would've suited the task well, IIRC, but I can't find them in any 3.0 or 3.5 resource.

Any suggestions?

I decided this should go in customer service since providing a chatroom is, essentially, a service to Paizo's customers.

Well, that let the cat out of the bag, didn't it?

Let's make it official. I'd like to propose the creation and support of a Paizo chatroom on an IRC network.

I suggest the use of Psionics.net for the room as it is a well-known, well-established IRC network which has provided chatroom services specially for RPG players for many years and hosts a number of already well-established chatrooms for well-known entities such as Malhavoc Press, EN World and Kathryn Kurtz' channel for her Deryni novels.

They don't ask for money, but the operators have given a lot to the RPG online community over the years so it would also be nice to have an entity like Paizo use their service and provide a bit of a donation now and then to keep them running.

I'd volunteer to set-up the channel and set-up all the permissions and auto-ops for Paizo staff and the organizing of chat events, however if Erik remembers me from Greytalk, then I'm guessing I'll be last in line for the job :)

That doesn't mean, however, that it's a bad idea.
