Dedric looks around and his gaze falls on the now empty bench. The woman left, probably he was too slow. It's a shame really but not all was in vain.
He felt up the leathery snake in his pocket and grinned at the punishment he had lined up for the man. When the image of his wife crossed his mind he was reminded of the vision he had. Alex was in danger, and so were all the others, he needed to get there quickly. He remembered that there was an abnormal concentration of magical girls at the mall, but that place was too far and it was far too late. Damn his reluctance to ever get a car, they were at the mall and he would never get there on time to help.
He pondered for a moment and then a thought struck him. Maybe he didn't need to be there at all. A quick sweep of the surrounding area and he identified the closest alley or hiding spot he could find. People at the hospital would be up to their elbows in the incoming patients so they shouldn't notice a thing.
At a hurried pace he approached the closest location that offered the wanted privacy and prepared to change back. He still didn't know his name for sure but he did know the titles changed while the name remained, the bird told him his title "Masterful Seer" and with any luck his name was shared by the last owner of the book.
After making sure he was away from prying eyes he intoned.
「I call for your strength, Masterful Seer Tiresias!」

Dedric smiles at the woman and shakes his head. He taps the card on the counter the woman was just sleeping as he talks to her.
I'm afraid not, something he was drinking didn't agree with him. He passed out and your colleagues took him away. All before I could discuss everything properly.
He forces a sigh and looks towards the woman.
As it is obvious I'll need to continue my discussion with him as soon as he is cleared for it. Could you please contact me when that happens?
Dedric hands the woman the card and throws at her his most charming smile. The man's punishment was merely temporary but the wheels were already turning in Dedric's head for something more permanent, he would need to return though and having a contact at the hospital would help quite a lot in that scenario and many others.
Oh... and keep the card if you want.
Dedric flashes one last pearly white smile coupled with a wink before he considers the conversation over and starts moving towards the exit.

Dedric approaches the nurse quietly with his card firmly grasped in his hand. Once he is close enough he lightly touches her shoulder trying to rouse her without frightening her. If that isn't enough he would even speak a few words to try and get her to wake up.
Male
Dedric smiled and gasped an apology and a thank you just as he gave the slightest hint of a bow towards the woman. He quickly turned on his heels and headed towards the lobby. As he followed the blue band he took a small card from his wallet. It contained both his name and his contact information.
As he reached the lobby he looked for the nurse that gave him entrance into the ICU in the first place.

Dedric blinked twice, his mouth slightly agape as the nurse spoke to him. Inside he was smiling, he had to keep the facade of shock for a while longer.
"I..." he managed to blurt out, his voice sliced as if by an internal struggle.
In truth he was just looking for a way out of this predicament.
I need a name. Any name... I've received information through magic in this form, maybe I can do so again.
His hand tentatively approached the small book in his pocket, as his fingers touched he recoiled like the book burned him. How he hated that damned thing, just touching it reminded him of everything he left behind. It would be funny if it wasn't so infuriating. It felt like his life was tied around that damn thing, that symbol. Angrily he clutched the book.
You will give me a name, some young woman in this hospital. Someone with a foreign boyfriend. And the name of the boyfriend too. If no one fits the description just give me the name of a young woman in this hospital that could have a boyfriend of my age.
Male
Dedric offers only a moment of attention to the nurse before turning towards the man on the floor. A wicked smile spread through his flesh momentarily as he started to yell.
「Someone help! He's passed out, please someone! I don't know if he is breathing!」
Before anyone showed up he changed his expression and knelled next to the man clumsily pretending to give him a heart massage.
You are in shock and terrified. Roll your words, keep your jaw slightly open, slow your reactions. The next piece of the puzzle falls in place.
Male
Dedric lowered himself closer to the convulsing man. His face was completely blank as his brain computed the possible ramifications of his actions there. It didn't take long until a vicious smile spread over it.
It's true that Dedric had his plans to punish the man, but those plans could wait. Now what he had here was a way to remove the man for the foreseeable future, this would allow the flower woman not to be disturbed while still punishing him. Of course, the energy source from him was a good plus.
Dedric stood back up and looked around. The man could use some medical help eventually. Would that influence the process of the snake forming? Maybe he should make sure that it happened.
Again he lowered himself, he moved slowly trying not to provoke a panicked response from the man and attempted to place one of his hands near the man's throat to help the snake move along up. If someone showed up he would say he was trying to help the man breathe again or to keep his airways open.

Dedric observes in awe as the knowledge collected by the other magical girls floods his awareness. He quickly takes it all in, he actually feels surprised he even can in such a short amount of time.
Someone stole drinks and brought them somewhere, a party maybe if we consider the coffins set out with food. Kiyomi was going to an event so maybe she is there already and involved in it. A girl was producing leather snakes, could that be why the hospital is receiving so many young people today from all over the city? Could it be related to the party?
He looks back at Mrs Miku and sighs. Slowly he approaches her and speaks in a hushed tone.
「I’ll find Sakura and help her, don’t worry. I’ll need you to do something for me though. I’ll tell the kind lady that gave you that card to come in. Your husband kicked her out last time so I want you to call him in and tell him you want her here with you. Can you do that for me?」
He smiled warmly and stood back up. Without waiting for her response he turned around and left the room looking out for her husband before getting out into the hallway.
I need to contact Alex. He doesn’t seem to answer messages on the phone so maybe magic? I can’t do magic right now… unless… I need to tell him that Kuthulun will help that they are in grave danger with two phantoms tonight, I need to tell that to everyone.
If the hallway is free Dedric would stride towards the closest man’s bathroom. He still needed to resolve something with Mr. Miku.
Hey look at me being super late right after I said I wouldn't be... oh well.

Dedric looks at her, his eyes wide open from the sudden outburst. Blinking several times he reached into that dark recess of his mind where information came to life and painted his understanding of the world. Immediately the sky was lit with tiny stars, every idea of the “prophecy” from Mrs Miku was indexed in each of them. However, no matter how Dedric looked at it there were no constellations, the data didn’t connect.
The eyes behind the eyes. Hidden forces maybe? The puppetmaster. Sakura? The dinner bell she rings. As in, she sets a trap? Are we dinner? Death’s the game she plays. Yeah we must be dinner… but who then? And why was she speaking in English? Obviously so I could understand but does that mean someone knows I’m here… Could it be my sister talking? No, ridiculous. I don’t have time for this.
Dedric smiles towards the woman, suddenly aware of our short his time window really is. Her husband wouldn’t stay in the bathroom forever waiting for them to finish. He extended the card still smiling and spoke to her.
「Mrs. Miku, my name is professor Silva. I’m here before you on behalf of someone special. She is waiting outside and wants to support you but your husband denied her access. I want to know what is your will towards this subject.」
Dedric slightly waved the card towards her in a motion to encourage her to take it from him.
I’m really sorry guys for the delay. I’m currently abroad but I should get reliable internet starting today. Hopefully I won’t be this late again.

Dedric slips into the room sighing in relief. He scans the room cursorily and reaches for the card he had saved in his pocket. That’s when he sees her, Mrs Miku, or is she? He gasps in surprise raising a hand to cover his mouth in horror. Small tears form on the corners of his eyes as he sees his sister laying there in that bed.
How? She died… dad told me she died. It was the only thing he had to tell me after years of self-imposed exile. After I left her… Why is she here? It can’t be her. It just can’t.
He closes his eyes as he sees her again. The summer sun shining and the noise of water splashes behind them as they picked flowers and weeds in equal measure, and her smile, brighter than all the sun and more refreshing than ice in that afternoon.
He opens his eyes again and she’s still there. His sister was dead, buried in that cursed town, he saw the grave, he went there alone without anyone knowing to visit her. To silently has for her forgiveness. That wasn’t his sister, he knew that. She was surprisingly similar to her, though.
He steps closer to her, card in hand as she tosses and turns in her restless sleep. Arrhythmia caused by overactive nerve endings. That was a pretty serious diagnosis for her. It made sense that she was there. Dedric looks around quickly, time was of the essence, Mr. Miku wouldn’t stay in the bathroom for long. Lightly he tapped the woman on her shoulder.
「Mrs. Miku, Mrs. Miku?」

Dedric slightly moves away from the intoxicated man bearing a clearly disgusted expression. Quickly he passes his hand over where the man touched him as if trying to dust off whatever prints he might have left there. Dedric’s eyes narrowed as he prepared a response.
Drunk, while watching over his wife, unpresentable, irresponsible, ridiculous. You are a despicable little old man, Miku Rikuto. This family would be so much better off without someone such as you. You’re lucky that it’s not my place to make that decision… yet. I do beg you though, force my hand, nothing would give me more pleasure than to…
「I assure you Mr. Miku that I am no doctor, neither am I here to test your wife any longer. However I don’t think you should be worried about that right now. 」
Dedric then proceeded to look around the man in an exaggerated manner, a carefully calculated look of concern on his face as he scanned the entire hall.
「Oh, do you happen to know where your daughter is, Mr. Miku? Or are you neglecting her again? I do wonder what her mother would think if she knew how you’ve been treating your daughter all this time. Maybe you should check up on her, just to be sure. Who knows where she might be at this time of the night. Certainly not you. 」
Dedric pointed towards the farthest end of the corridor they were in. 「I think you should probably make the call over there. We both don’t want your wife to hear what you are doing, now do we? And you better hurry, the longer you stand around the more things could happen to her little girl. 」

Dedric smiled as best he could, he felt his blood boil before the comments that woman dared make. Still he kept his temper in check, after all it was him that set up the entire situation and this was the reaction he both expected and wanted even if it was unfair to the man. Besides now is certainly not the time to antagonize his ticket into the hospital.
「Well yes his behavior is appalling, and worse still is how it is affecting his daughter. Don’t worry, I will make sure that he knows how disappointed we are and that the school board will not tolerate this kind of behavior any longer. Thank you so much for your help, and for your time as well. I’m sure you must be terribly busy and yet here you are taking some of your precious minutes to fend for the best interests of a young girl. She is lucky to have such a dedicated angel watching over her. I hope you have a pleasant evening.
With that he bowed slightly and left deeper into the hospital. He followed her directions closely as his mind both condemned her behavior and prepared for the next stage of his plan. First he would need to find Sakura’s parents, if her mother was awake he would need to pass her the card and let her decide if she wanted the woman to come visit. If the father seemed to hold some sway over his wife he would just have to either shut him up, in which case some veiled threats and guilt tripping should work, or he would have to make him leave the room if he won’t shut up with just that. If the woman was not awake things would be slightly trickier, he would have to get permission from the husband which, depending on his willpower, could be trivial or a battle in itself.
If everything went bad, or it seemed like he was not getting to them he always had his secret weapon, magic. He could try casting outside of his magical girl form but the drain didn’t leave him confident of the results. Maybe there was another way though. His hand moved towards his pocket where his wallet was. In that moment he reached the indicated room, he approached the door and knocked waiting for any sign of life from the inside before opening the door and walking in.

Hey there! Hmm... I wanted to ask if what I did in Gameplay is actually valid... I mean I don't even know how to ask this but basically I had a hard time coming out with an attack spell related or inside the theme of knowledge and I'm not sure how to do it? Could I maybe play with the concept of information, like overloading an enemy with sensory information or binding him by denying him that information? I'm not sure, what do you think about it?
EDIT: Or maybe I should just use divination spells? Like right now? Should I?... I didn't cause supposedly I can only attack, protect or run right now. and I guess the fact she doesn't yet know that much about her powers could mean she doesn't divine yet... I dont know.

Dedric stared at the hovering book before him. His blood dotted the binding in it and the book shone like a small star. He noticed the other girls in the room chanting one after another and being enveloped in their lights only enough to understand what was expected of him.
Slowly almost solemnly both his hands wrapped around the Bible, he brought it in closer to him and cradled it near his stomach. His right hand found the blade and pulled it trying to remove it while the left held the book firmly as he chanted.
"A part apart; a fate undone!
By blood and rote, I seal this heart.
Bind this spirit; turn the lock,
And rise, again, to keep the watch."
He almost whispered it to the book in a moment that would look perhaps tender were he not also pulling the blade lodged in it.

Hey guys, I just wanted to take this moment to wish everyone here a happy 2016! I hope you all get an amazing year!
Also, I am now in 2016, so all of you that feel compelled to worship me as the time-traveller from the future, you have my permission! :)

I would wait if I were you. There might be special rules like with Alex and the dice roll he did.
Male
Dedric observes as the girl falls towards him, as she stops above him he flinches back for a moment. The slumped body of the man in a tropical still fresh in his mind. He was shaking, he didn’t understand her, he didn’t understand any of this and he feared it. Somewhere deep inside he feared it all. Reflexively his hand moved towards his bag where a small leather bound bible rested, he brought it with him everywhere, a familiar companion for times such as these.
The girl opened her emerald eyes and Dedric’s hand return to a defensive position to his side, his muscles tensed ready for action at any moment. When she laughed, however, Dedric wasn’t ready for that and her next move took advantage of his moment of confusion.
As she slashed towards him Dedric only had the time to register the presence of the other girl in danger and to throw himself in her direction hoping to push her away from the floating girl and the danger she posed.

Male
Dedric passes his hand over the cushion letting the feeling of the fabric linger in his fingers.
It's surprisingly soft. Does that mean this isn't a hallucination? Is this really happening? It can't be really happening there's a floating girl on the balcony!
As he looked upwards to confirm that the girl was indeed there and not just gone like some mirage he managed to catch a glimpse of that same girl leaping down from the balcony, and the man in a tropical shirt reaching for his neck desperately and slumping to the ground.
What just happened? Did she do something to him? Is he hurt? What...
In this moment he notices Miyako sprinting towards the falling girl. Without much thought he jumps to intercept her before she reaches her while also trying to place himself between the two.
Korusawa! No!
If that girl did or did not attack the man didn't matter, she has shown some unusual abilities and therefore no one should be approaching her before some verbal contact is established and her motives discussed. He wouldn't let any of the girls near a potential danger such as her.
Male
Ok a question, I assume we all just saw Alex get sliced right? or was it like some kind of illusion only he can see?... I'm probably overthinking this.
Male
Oh the colors? Don't worry about it. I only picked turquoise cause at the time I had no idea where I was going to go with it and therefore I'm more than willing to change and adapt! I like my other options too so its all fine. And I do agree Alex would make sense with turquoise, more sense than me anyway. No worries really! ^^

Dedric stared at the girl that called out to him. Her voice seemed familiar but he couldn’t really place her face. Who was her? He rummaged through his memories of prior students. She wasn’t in his class currently, maybe a dropout? That’s when it hit him, of course the girl that left after having a kind of meltdown. Kurosawa Miyako he thought, he still wasn’t sure but it was somewhere to begin from.
As he was going to confirm his suspicions the fog rolled in and a humming filed the air. A chill fell down his spine as his eyes looked to the balcony. There was a girl there, pale and floating. Something was wrong it had to be. Were those butterflies? No it must be a trick of some kind, someone was playing a trick on them. Dedric quickly surveyed the place for any signs of foul play and that’s when the light started to spread, the mall was transformed before his eyes. There was no denying it now, if this was a prank it was a very good one or maybe… maybe he was going insane.
Could I be hallucinating? Insanity? Maybe a gas? Could I have been drugged? No, my head feels clear and not sluggish like drugs should make you feel. Right? That’s how drugs work? And how could I have become insane in a moment? Is that even possible? Maybe some recent trauma I can’t remember?
His mind was all over the place and it was only when Miyako yelped again that he snapped back to reality and noticed the waiters and workers now crowding the mall in what he could only describe as some mockery of what life must have been in that location some time ago. He clutched his phone in a defensive position and saw the girl balancing on the railing as well as a man dressed in a tropical shirt and khaki shorts approaching her.
At that moment he only managed to stifle the roaring laughter building up inside him by pure force of will. No doubt about it, he was insane, there was no other explanation, maybe even the girls inside the mall weren’t there to begin with.
In a sudden moment of clarity he approached one of the cushioned seats and squeezed it, maybe that way he could dispel the illusion from his mind or find some conflicting sensory information to base his sanity around. If the seat wasn't real then he wouldn't feel it when he touched it, right?
Male
Hey if you feel Alex should have Turquoise then I have no problems changing my color, with the Turqoise hair ALex gets I agree you can keep the color. I could swap for this one or this one and go for a more arcane knowledge theme. I don't know the names of the colors... hey don't blame me I'm a guy I don't know colors.
As for the personal item I guess a book would go well with knowledge, maybe a leather bound bible, now that could give rise to some interesting character development I believe.

Male
Dedric took a step backwards as the girl spoke to him. She was right, it was suspicious for a man his age to be following young girls in the dark in an abandoned mall. Then again he was a teacher and if he learned anything of his time here was that teachers were due a certain measure of respect. So he breathed in deeply and pressed on again. That was when he heard the reference to the train.
Of course they were here for the train.
Oh, no no. First of all, I am not a pervert. My name is Professor Dedric Silva, I teach English at the local university. Now I’m sure you are all aware that as a teacher it is my responsibility to maintain young people such as all of you safe and focused on their assignments.
Dedric took a second to breathe and assess the situation. It’s not like he wasn’t curious about the train himself it just felt irresponsible to allow these girls to pursue this unsupervised. Well he was an adult, he could supervise them.
Dedric gestured towards the girl in the wheelchair. She must have been through so much if her state was any indication. Sorrow, there’s something he could sympathise with maybe he should help her, just a bit. He sighed loudly.
I must say that as an adult I do not think it is such a good idea for any of you to be here and therefore I plead with all of you to please reconsider… that being said I don’t believe that kicking you out would prevent any of you from returning. So this is what I propose. We’ll go and find that train of yours prove that there is nothing strange about it or that it does not even exist and return safe. I can help you with that chair if you wish. Once that is done can you all please promise me that you won’t do anything such as this again?

Dedric rushed through the doors, if he wasn’t sure that there was someone in that mall before now he had no doubts.
The entrance to the mall looked worse than he thought it would. Overgrown and dark it was not an inviting place still he pressed on. As soon as he was in the large area before the derelict carousel he raised his voice to shout.
Excuse me.
Surprisingly only a meek sound escaped his throat. He took a step back shaking slightly.
What am I doing? I don’t know who is in here. I should think before engaging them. Excuse me but I don’t believe you should be in here. No, he shouldn’t be in there as well. Hey, this is a dangerous location. Please there is nothing to see here. That sounded better, a bit of concern might be accepted more readily than a brash confrontation.
Still he faltered. Who are these people? Was he even safe? Maybe he should just head back and leave them to whatever decisions they made. He took out his phone in one fluid motion. No, if these were students attracted by the rumours of a mysterious train they had to be warned for their own good. He had a responsibility.
As he moved forward with his phone’s light as guidance he repeated this mantra in his mind.
I have a responsibility. I have a…
He tensed up and raised his voice one more time, the sound that came out was barely above that of a normal conversation.
Excuse me. This is a dangerous location, please you must leave this place as soon as possible.
That was better, he noted, not good enough though.
He sighed and moved forward, he wasn’t sure if anyone heard him but whatever the case he had to reach them to be sure.

Dedric flipped another page of the small book he was reading, the faint sound of water filled th air as he slowly walked home. After a day teaching and grading at Obusa’s University this is how he loved to relax, a good book and the fresh sounds of running water. He enjoyed it so much that he usually took the longer route avoiding Kirakira Bridge. The only real problem was the abandoned mall on the way. Not that he particularly disliked the looming building himself, he simply thought it was an abrupt cut to his relaxation cycle every night.
There it was, the large vaguely threatening building just up ahead. It was obviously not a safe place to be for anyone.
Dedric swayed his head in a disappointed motion as he remembered all those rumours flying around about the mall. What do people want? To endanger others? It was just ridiculous. His attention was once again on his book but as he flipped another page a glimmer of light caught him right in the corner of his eye.
He stopped, it had come from the mall but surely no one was in there. Squatters perhaps… or children lured by the promises in the rumours. He closed his book briskly. What if it were students? As a teacher he had a responsibility to them.
He placed his book in his small over the shoulder brown bag where he was reunited with other such tomes of English literature and a small wallet. Dedric checked his smartphone and after making sure he had plenty of battery he wandered in to the mall from the main Southern entrance, it looked dark inside but the phone should provide enough light to guide him.
Whoever was inside was clearly in a dangerous situation, sane adults would never go in and if they were children he as a teacher had a responsibility to them. That’s what he thought as he approached the mall’s doors.
