Coming up on three and a half hours now...

You can cut the tension with a knife!

** spoiler omitted **

what about a knife that could cut through tension as a free action?

I haven't put anything down on paper, but I do have what I think is a very interesting take on a particular class ready to go should I make the cut. I'm not going to go ahead and throw anything down too soon however. No need getting too carried away too soon.

Pillow of Restful Slumber

Aura: Moderate Enchantment; CL 7th
Slot -; Price 56,000gp; Weight 3 lbs.
Description:

This comfortable pillow casts deep slumber (DC 18 Will save to resist) continuously on any entity whose head comes in contact with it. So long as the creature's head remains on the pillow, the deep slumber spell is re-cast.

While originally intended as a cure for insomnia, it has been used by the less than scrupulous as an assassination tool. There are persistent rumors of adventurers wielding them as melee weapons; to model this off-label effect, the character must use the pillow as a one handed melee weapon, and must strike the target with a natural die roll of 19 or 20. The pillow otherwise does no damage, save to the wielder's dignity.

Improved Critical (pillow) does increase the threat range to use this item, should anyone be mad enough to take it. The Keen Edge spell does not.

Construction Requirements: Craft Wondrous Item, deep slumber, charm monster; Cost 28,000 gp

If you enchant it with something like Flaming, will it deal the fire damage? Can it even be enchanted like that?

I actually really like this! Haha!

I don't want to just say thank you for all the hard work the judges have done. Honestly, there are a number of people making that statement and have done it great service.

I want to add that I appreciate Paizo staff for creating this opportunity. Some of your participants know how hard it is to break into the gaming industry. Having the opportunity to take a shot out of the blue like this is very encouraging.

Thank you so much for a fun ride.

Swimming against the current is a good workout ;)

Just double checked to make sure I had Tuesday off work :) Even if I don't make it, I'm still going to have a blast reading through the ones that did. . . (and then grumbling about why they were picked instead of mine) ha ha. J/k.

Good luck everyone!
