A couple of ground rules with this build

-I will not multi class no I down right refuse to do it DMs orders mostly but I don't like multi classing anyways

-Unarmed isn't his main thing he's just trained in it so he can fight without weapons although I do still plan on grappling and taking punishing kick so that I can pin and tie captures down

-he is not a sword and shield fighter he uses 1 handed weapons in 2 hands so that he can switch in between to lay on hands with one hand

So far I'm 6th level and Ive already have improved unarmed strike,improved grapple,
Alertness,battle cry,and weapon focus longsword. I'm mainly going for a buffer/healer type leader paladin I would also like a "wish list" if you will of magic items that would complement him thank you


There basically a society that worships the moon God (lunaris) and believe wolves to be a suymbol of the diety as well that's why they're known as The Pack they are mainly a tribal society that has recently adapted to crafting to fight there enemy Children of Dawns Light (CODL)

So I've already got the basic units done and I need major help with the advanced/elite units there gonna have to fight

The first one is a unit named terror hounds captains of the main army who are mainly melee oriented troops or even ranged oriented

And then there are hell hounds elites of the terror hounds who are known for killing there own troops every once and awhile to keep the others in line and usually are given the best equipment

Basically I'm trying to decide do I really have to name all of these guys or should I just name the important ones? And should they adapt more and more as they begin learning from the CODL

P.s. This is only the melee units I'll have the rest up tommorow


So I had a interesting ideas while thinking about an intelligent barbarian what if i took moment of clarity and cast spells mid rage and took levels as a transmuter wizard could this work and if so what would probably be better schools I'm thinking transmuter for the free strength buff

Edit: p.s. I'm generally going for canibalistic type barbarian I think my general backstory is im from a noble family but you only get your fortune after you only become accepted after you hunt/eat 100 different types of animals/species but my person is gonna take it up a notch with mine becoming a cannible who eats humanoids (because of the bite rage power and the unarmed damage rage power to tear flesh and bone) so any ideas on this background as well?


So we're making character sheets on Friday 2 have never played and 1 has played 1/4 of a campaign(3 sessions) but they have all played AD&D second edition a lot the father whom played 3 sessions before is saying to take things easy on them but I'm skeptical should I just put them in combat automatically so that they can learn the ropes (since they know RPing pretty well) and is lvl 3 a good starting point?


SOOO everyone wanted to play some steampunk so I can only think of the bioshock and dishonored universe so I'm thinking magic is very rare brought in by those blessed by gods and demigods and guns are gonna be martial weapons anymore imput?


Can you put things like shock,flame,and frost on spiked gauntlets and brass knuckles


Well I need input on classes would be allowed how they would be allowed like how would wizards work? Or would smaller crossbows have been invented yet and yes I know of scorpions.


I'm making a campaign for the first time and can't think of a way the pcs can get of a trap I made that splits the party in half filling one half the chamber with water in about a minute and making the other halfs roof begin to crush them so how can I make it to where both of them have to do something for the othersides traps to deactivate? Disable device? Or what


Ok I'm making a trap that both splits the group in the same room one side is filling with water rapidly and the other side the roof is crushing them but how would the PCs get out of this?
