Daimon Pyre currently a devout follower of Asmodeus. He is tall powerfully built and charasmatic and most would regard him as handsome. His immediate goal is of course to escape his current confinement. Long term he want's to overthrow those of Talingarde and set himself in a position of power, prehaps even the king.
He was born with an affinity for magic and as the story goes that his family has the blood of dragons flowing within them. There are however secret whispers that his blood is in fact from something much older darker and more fiendish then the dragons.
Growing up Daimon was aware that few could match him in both strength and personality. It only felt right that he should dominate those weaker then himself and those that he could not physically outmatch could be dealt with other ways.
Wanting answers Daimon threw himself into studies about the planes, traveling the realm. This was a turning point for him because among many other things he came across Asmodeus. Most of the knowledge of the fallen demon lord is forbidden in these times but Daimon was able to tease out the truth, often with brutal tactics. Getting up close and personal is his preferred style - often using claws that his blood can manifest. Although Daimon does recongize that not everything can be achieved with force. Sometimes a fine hand will get the job done better, and if your adversary doesn't know that they have been manipulated then all the better.
Asmodeus goals seemed to mirror his own. Power and order, strong over the weak without the needless baggage of compassion. Daimon began to worship Asmodeus and work against Talingarde. Talingarde, the foolish kingdom that would seek to keep his master tucked away. When he could he would spread the word and might of Asmodeus. Daimon's efforts were rewarded for his service - Asmodeus bestowing upon him the power of his unholy knights, an order of antipaladins.
Daimon's study of the planes also led to something rewarding. He discovered a ritual that would bring one of Asmodeus devils to the Material Plane. Had he succeeded he might have been able to start to openly rebel against Talingarde. Unfortunately for him as he was nearing completion of the ritual he was surprised by the arrival of Sir Balin of Karfeld. There was little he could do and now he is captured and faces a death by burning. However Daimon watches and waits for a chance to escape and to continue the work to bring himself to rule over the land as a worthy emissary of Asmodeus.
