Swashbuckler Abilities:

The swashbuckler’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Acrobatics (Dex), Bluff (Cha), Climb (Str), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Escape Artist (Dex), Handle Animal (Cha), Intimidate (Cha),
Profession (Wis), Ride (Dex), Sense Motive (Wis), and Swim (Str).
Skill Points Per Level: 4 + Int modifier.

Uncanny Dodge(SWbf);At 2nd level the swashbuckler retains his Dexterity bonus to armor class even when he is considered flat-footed.

Thrust (Ex): [+1d6] At 2nd level, the swashbuckler learns how to exploit an opening, dealing extra damage. The swashbuckler may thrust whenever his opponent is denied her Dexterity bonus to her armor class (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not) or when he flanks his opponent. This extra damage is indicated on the Swashbuckler Table. Should the swashbuckler score a critical hit with a thrust, this extra damage is not multiplied.
A swashbuckler may only thrust with a piercing melee weapon that is covered under the weapon finesse feat. The thrust bonus stacks with the rogue’s sneak attack and similar abilities.

Evade (Ex): A swashbuckler is a fluid combatant, relying on quickness rather than heavy armor to deflect blows. When wearing no or light armor, the swashbuckler adds his Evade bonus to his armor class.
This is considered a Dodge bonus and whenever the swashbuckler is denied his Dexterity bonus to armor class he also loses
his Evade bonus.
Evade may be substituted for the Dodge feat as a prerequisite for other feats (for example, a swashbuckler with Evade +1 need not take the Dodge feat in order to select the Mobility feat).;

Deflect Arrows (Combat)
You can knock arrows and other projectiles off course, preventing them from hitting you.

Prerequisites: Dex 13, Improved Unarmed Strike.

Benefit: You must have at least one hand free (holding nothing) to use this feat. Once per round when you would normally be hit with an attack from a ranged weapon, you may deflect it so that you take no damage from it. You must be aware of the attack and not flat-footed. Attempting to deflect a ranged attack doesn't count as an action. Unusually massive ranged weapons (such as boulders or ballista bolts) and ranged attacks generated by natural attacks or spell effects can't be deflected.

Combat Reflexes (Combat)
You can make additional attacks of opportunity.

Benefit: You may make a number of additional attacks of opportunity per round equal to your Dexterity bonus. With this feat, you may also make attacks of opportunity while flat-footed.

Normal: A character without this feat can make only one attack of opportunity per round and can't make attacks of opportunity while flat-footed.

Special: The Combat Reflexes feat does not allow a rogue to use her opportunist ability more than once per round.

Evasion (Ex): At 2nd level or higher, a monk can avoid damage from many area-effect attacks. If a monk makes a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, he instead takes no damage. Evasion can be used only if a monk is wearing light armor or no armor. A helpless monk does not gain the benefit of evasion

Fast Movement (Ex): At 3rd level, a monk gains an enhancement bonus to his land speed, as shown on Table: Monk. A monk in armor or carrying a medium or heavy load loses this extra speed.

Maneuver Training (Ex): At 3rd level, a monk uses his monk level in place of his base attack bonus when calculating his Combat Maneuver Bonus. Base attack bonuses granted from other classes are unaffected and are added normally.

Still Mind (Ex): A monk of 3rd level or higher gains a +2 bonus on saving throws against enchantment spells and effects

Avinar is brash and cocky, something he learned as a defense mechanism. As a youth he grew up without a father. His Mother told Avinar stories of a elven hero who came to stay in her settlement for a while. Avinar was the result of a one night love affair under the stars between an elf maiden and a travelling elven adventurer. Still the stories that Avinar heard from his mother inspired him. He hopes one day to emulate the stories of his father and to even surpass the skill with the blade his father was said to possess. Unfortunatley his peers are not belivers of Avinar's heritage and he is the brunt of many jokes, some even question the linage of Avinar's blood, often teases of "half-breed" and "tainted blood" are thrown his way. Growing up Avinar did not take these insults kindly and was often involved in many fights. Fortunatly the elders channeled his emotions and enrolled Avinar in the Academy of the Starsteel warriors. On his 100th birthday his Mother produced a hierloom his Father left as a gift. An exquisite ancient Elven Thinblade a token from her lover on that stary night. Avinar wears this rapier with pride and has named it "Mother's Kiss" both to honor his Mother and to pay homage to the love that brought him to this world even if it was the passion of one night. Avinar ventures out into the wild to make a name for himself. Secretly hoping he may cross paths with his Father so he can learn more of who he is.
