As Cygnus speaks, excited to be part of a team, fighting the good fight, Astre closes his eyes, mind whirring.

Cygnus' Hands were covered in blood. the doctors were all busy, so she was the only one there when the kid started declining. They had started Spasming and tearing at their bandaging, and she had rushed over, trying to hold them down and reapply what had been torn. As they Writhed, She felt something in his wound. to close to the surface, and in the wrong place to be a bone, it had to be a foreign object. she couldn't sedate them, they'd probably never wake, but it was probably causing this fit. She dug one hand in, the other arm used to put her full body weight on them to keep them still. her fingers got a grip, and she carefully extracted the object, a small crescent bead. As soon as she removed it, the child went still. breathing shallowly, and allowed her to reapply the bandage. They had lost too much blood, never woke up. She quietly pocketed the bead, clearly a leftover from the attack, a weapon or something. she would show Astre, or Ao, Or Junpei. Someone on the purity council
No,come to that. Perfection fits the bill quite nicely now I think of it.
okay, here's what I'm thinking. the other name I had in my head for this Erohin was Authority. they think that letting the wastrels of the darkness in will undermine the "perfect unity" of Neo-Jimazan. in terms of this whole "Child-god" thing, they are a mixture of "Kid with all the cool toys" and "Schoolyard bully". They are on the powerful end of the Erohin Spectrum, they know it, and they play favorites Hard
hey, before I do the Friend/Enemy thing (which I swear, I didn't forget) do we have a naming convention in place? I noticed a lot of the names (Erohin aside) have a similar feel to them that Cygnus/Astre don't.
God damn, I also love Tarrot cards... I don't know what a magatama is, but I bet I can work with it too... okay, maybe we should just say I have an idea of how to work with anything.
I don't dislike the idea of vivid, for the record. If everyone else is into it, I could work with it
I'm really feeling "Never alone" Or "redemption", in terms of crew abilities. as for the transcendent, "Tireless" or "Hope in darkness" both seem good. I like Imperfect, or True (we aren't choosing from a list I didn't see, are we?). I like the idea of our transcenant selves don't look perfect, because the Erohin have made our mundane forms so. Dunno if it is for anyone else, but transcending allowing us to be our real, flawed, damaged selves, still trying to be heroes, is a powerful image to me.
To say I'm happy with it would be a lie, but I am fairly confident I've hit the soft cap on my artistic ability... and I don't think it's awful.
oh, wow, everyone is going with pretty colours for their sheets... I'll get around to that eventually. I'm thinking Yellow for Cygnus, and indigo for Astre. |
