Background:
Lucious grew up in the wilds of Sandpoint. His parents would always tell them, that their family left Sandpoint after multiple disasters and such happening in the town. Since before Lucious was born, his family has been living off the land and trading furs and such for what they need. At a young age Lucious had to learn to hunt, trap, and help around the house, as he was the only child. Lucious learned quickly that he was not strong like his dad, but he was quick and sneaky. Lucious loved the hunt, he loved sneaking up on unsuspecting prey, and killing them with his bow before they even knew that he was there. The tough winters taught Lucious how to survive as his family was also poor and at times had to go without food, if a hunt did not prove bountiful. Lucious' dad taught him everything he knew, from trapping, to making and repairing bows, to even making repairs to the house and other structures. Never caring much for working with wood, unless to make bows, Lucious nonetheless was forced to learn. Growing up in the wilds proved many advantages for him, like learning to survive and live off the land, however it also had its downfalls, Lucious never really experienced what it was like to be a kid, or to make friends and he seldom got to go with his dad to town, as he was always told he had to protect his mother. That all change on one fateful day about 6 months ago, while his dad was in town of Sandpoint on a routine trade. The night before his dad was expected to be back, he came bursting through the door covered in blood yelling "GET OUT NOW!" Lucious not sure what was going on, he never saw his dad panicked or covered in blood.
"Dad you need help, let me help,"
"Son it is too late for me, the dead, they have risen and are everywhere, you must get your mother and yourself to safety somewhere."
"I'm not leaving without you."
"Lucious, my boy, you must go, it is too late for me, I saw people die and then come back after being biten, there is nothing you can do for me, now go."
Heading his father's advice, Lucious grabbed what little he could and left with his mother into the woods. For several months, Lucious and his mother struggled to get by, but were lucky that they ran into no zombies, or survivors. He never forgot his father's last words, protect your mother and trust no one. Never staying in one place too long, Lucious and his mother were on the constant move, despite Lucious' best efforts to cheer his mother up, nothing ever worked, and as the weeks and months went on his mother's mood continued to worsen and at times refused to leave camp and insisted that they stay to rest. One particular stay proved to be too long, as other "survivors" caught up with them at camp. Lucious did not trust them and wanted to heed what his father said, but his mother insisted that they let them stay. All went well for the first few hours, but once night fell that all changed. Zombies attacked the camp and while Lucious was fighting to protect the camp, the other "survivors" betrays Lucious and stole the rest of his gear and took his mother with them. After dispatching the few lone zombies, Lucious tracked the survivors, but what he found changed him forever. The other survivors used his mother, for Zombie bate so that they could get away, as Lucious killed the two zombies that were eating his mother he vowed that he would find those survivors and kill them. Due to the increasing number of zombies, Lucious was unable to continue to track the "survivors" that killed his mother. After a few months on his own, never straying more than a week or so from Sandpoint, he knew that he needed help, he could not survive on his own. The few passing survivors he met, told him of refuge in Sandpoint, and Lucious decided this was a good chance to maybe run back into those 3 men who killed his mother.
