So UK Expo is coming up next week.

Never played PF, although I played AD&D 1st and 2nd editions nearly, good grief, 30 years ago. (Low power, long running campaigns: went from level 3 - 8 in 3+ years of weekly sessions: just to give you an idea). Mediaeval-Norse setting. (Cleric of Sif until he got killed and raised by a cleric of Hel and then a Paladin of Heimdall).

I've signed up for a couple of sessions at UK Expo, I can't see any advice on the site either specific to the sessions I've signed up for nor in general. (The sessions are tagged as level 1-7).

My initial questions are:

- I'd like to play either a cleric (old school, not druid style, if you see what I mean) or a paladin. Good aligned: in the latter case it would be 'Lawful is the best way to achieve Good" philosophy. Would I be expected / be able to bring my own character?

- Which leads me to my second question. Is there a standard pantheon in PF? Something like the old Deities and Demigods? I've seen a mention of Iomedae, but searching on the Paizo site she(?) only turns up in a single adventure. Where would I look?
