Background

Corax has one simple belief in life - to do what comes naturally, as she always trusts her instincts.  That way, honour is done and nobody can tell her what to do.

Abandoned as a toddler because of her bright white hair, she was taken in by those who knew what being an outcast was - a family of half-orcs.  She learned the ways of humans and orcs from them, although not a word of Orcish ever crossed her lips.  She learned to stand up for herself and to knock down those that didn't give her respect.  Soon she had a reputation as a fighter and decided that if that is what fate had in store, then so be it - and she learned to use a Longsword to good effect.

One day she knew she had to move on and took up the life of a traveling mercenary.  If the pay was good and the deed acceptable, she sold her sword accordingly.

Finding herself in the hire of the Aspis Consortium,  she was to be part of the crew of the Lady Fortune. Not a veteran sailor, but given the first mate's responsibilities due to her value to the mission.
