So we have decided to use Rise of the RUnelords as our DnDN playtest. (It was also going to be my 1st 4E campaign too, but that never eventuated).

Rather than copy everything here, I will refer you all to out playtest thread on Enworld: http://www.enworld.org/forum/d-d-pathfinder/328907-campaign-playtest-rise-r unelords.html

It has info on players, characters, short story reports, DM notes and adjustments, as well as discussion in the rules.

Of more importance, the thread has many docs attached for DMs to use. (The reason the report is there and not here). Of these people may like the Realms Sheets I have developed. (This is my version of the 2E World Builder's Guide, but it can be used for everything from a tribe to and organisation, to a forest, to a kingdom. It is very useful for organising info - and finding it once you are used to them).

I have realms sheets for Sandpoint and each of the Goblin Tribes. I have charts I used to spice up the Swallowtail Festival and goblin raid.

Anyway, please check it out and feel free to post Q's/responses there OR here.

Session 1+2 took us to just after the goblin raid.

Whilst I am very excited about Pathfinder I cannot help but be a little selfish and wonder what will NOW happen to our 'accepted' submissions.

I have had two bandied around for about 2 years+. These were lost, resent, one accepted, lost again (as editors changed seats), resent, the one that was accepted then rejected but interest in the 'other' one. Sent that one, accepted. That was WELL over a year ago.

Had confirmation as recently as late last year my monk fighting styles are still 'in'. Where do they go now? (By the wayside like the 'barbarian totems'?)

Sorry to sound put-offish, but I am. I am not a regular author, but devote ANY spare time I can to writing many dnd items. It was very exiting to tell fiends 2 years ago that I had articles accepted in Dragon. Not bad to see some of what developed in our games in rural Victoria, Australia, see print and I was pretty chuffed too.

But NOW what happens? I REALLy would like some answer on this. It is not a good feeling have things rejected (after being accepted), due to personnel change.

Also, where do contributors send their ideas now? I have a massive realm creation and development article that I am sure would be valued by many GMs, but it probably would need to be done in parts.

I know it states in FAQS this will be addressed, but how soon? Has it been addressed? All info on Pathfinder world is very interesting but what about those of us who have scant chance to contribute to something big and have put our hearts into doing those articles? This should be one of the first things sorted by the splitting of the partnership...admittedly WotC especially, but I find these boards more informative ;)

Wow, I just followed a link from another thread to Lilith's DM Tools website. http://www.dmtools.org/

Awesome. I love these sorts of generators.

I create these all the time, but as dice-roll charts and tables. Anything from trade resources to combat actions to things found in NPC's pockets.

I have MANY of these. However I only have them as dice charts. Lilith, maybe we can forge a partnership here where you convert some of my charts into generators for the net.

Couple of questions for you all:
1. How many have seen Lilith's site?
2. How many of you use it?
3. What do you use the most?
4. What do you like best?
5. What other generators would you like to see?

(I also have embarked upon large docs for creating NPCs for our campaign world and am currently working on a massive doc for creating a realm, be it a forest, city or empire)

Anyway I have some GM Tools at d20zines: http://www.d20zines.com/v7/taxonomy/term/7

Please check them out. Comments, ideas, suggestions, welcome.

Lilith, if you don't mind I wish to include a link to your tools site on our campaign website. Awesome. I LOVE how you use monsters etc from MANY places, including non OGC, just with a reference to where it is.

That is the best part for me. That is essentially why I do the charts - to gather all the items from various sources in one place and giving them a chance to appear.

That is exactly what I did with my last GM Perspective article regarding races. It includes massive charts for population a realm.

Lets make this a useful DM thread and gather some of the best charts, ideas under the one banner.

Cheers all, Connors
