I remember years ago when the scuttlebutt was that they had gotten Joss Whedon to direct a Wonder Woman movie. Around the same time that Robert Rodriguez was supposed to be doing a reboot of Red Sonja. So few heroine movies seem to actually happen that I'll be glad if a good one does, regardless of who directs it.

Looks like "Wonder Woman" is getting crushed beneath the heel of the movie-making machine yet again! Link.

My local comic books shop is still out of the Rat Queens' "Sass and Sorcery" trade ppb! [eyesroll] Comics guy said they might have it in stock again in 2 or 3 weeks. That's what they said last time and I asked them to put me on their list for the next shipment! I can't wait that long! I want my FIX! [nerdrage]

I used to watch the BeastMaster . Now it's over, I'd say Dan Goddard made a good move going into soaps - lots more women to drool over him daily that way! (it was a pretty lame series, on the whole, but hot is hot)

Yow! That Craig Horner pic is delicious! I've only seen one episode of "The Seeker," but I may have to TiVo it now. I don't see why it's "mild sexism" though. Sure, 90% of men can't achieve that look, but most women can't look like what's on TV either.

It's pretty cool though and designed to be real gritty. No spellcasting classes besides the old one-eyed hag type, very limited healing, not a bunch of magic items and stores for them. It really looks cool and the alternate rules for handling the differences are really well thought-out. I love the change to Poison and plan to implement that in my game immediately.
