About Ciani
Hailing from a land where humanoid desires and will (or lack thereof) affect reality; this woman bears a tragic past. Once able to manipulate the flows of magic, she has recently lost her memories and abilities as a sorceress to a mysterious pack of 'demons' no one in her party could identify.
Deeming herself a liability and useless to their quest, she parted ways from her three companions; one of which had been her assistant as a wizard at the business she'd once owned. He watched her go with mixed feelings, as he'd always borne a secret jealousy towards sorcerers; for the ability can never be learned but must be born with. However his longing to become one and his thirst for knowledge matched hers and they made quite a team while it lasted. Ciani often wondered as to if his great desire for sorcerous adeptititude had led to their undoing...
Now she wanders, her hunger for knowledge only surpassed by the void her lost abilities have left behind.
