About Chu Mak Fo
Chu Mak Fo (u can carr me 'Chu") is definitely from the far east. Transported west, he might have become Ronin if not for the Pathfinders. There he found the organization to be his master and he took his oath. From the Pathfinder hierarchy, a request or suggestion is to him an order.
He is driven by honor and will not suffer a slight unless ordered by a senior pathfinder. His personal honor is only superseded by Pathfinder goals ... and then proximity can matter as to which one wins out. Additionally, he may later pursue a solution to an insult.
It is his nature to look to a leader for direction. It is not that he is indecisive or fear making decisions. Rather, it is that his samurai code and training has always been in serving a master.
Since he is samurai, he is a lesser noble. While it may not be recognized in this land, it is very clear in his mind and something he never forgets.
He is less concerned about good and evil. He feels no obligation to protect the innocent or stop suffering. Since his battle companions are vital to the Pathfinder's mission, he does protect them to the point of sacrificing himself as long as it supports his Pathfinder orders/mission.
