Sovereign Court 1/5

Granted, more than a few of them haven't fully registered their characters...

Sovereign Court 1/5

I am certainly with the original poster on this, as I have Profession: Brewer and would like to buy a front for my business, but there is no Brewery option and a Tavern requires Bartender.

Furthermore, in the last 2 games, I rolled a natural 20 on Profession: Brewer. The first to get an NPC drunk enough to tell him everything we needed to know. (It was the best ale he'd ever had in his life.) The second time was on my Day Job roll. It got me 50 gold, but that just tells me Thane Dargrin's Dwarven Stout is on its way to being a household name.

Well, rant over. I just saw this thread and had to agree. I hope the either modify the tavern, or add more options.

Good evening to you all. (Takes a long draw from a mug of Dwarf Stout.) I am Dargrin, Son of Dalgrim and Erigga. I recently have risen above my humble status as a common dwarf brewer and ranger, to accept a title, recognized by both the human nation of Taldor, and my people of the Five Kings Mountains. As an agent of Torag and His Family, I have been granted an unofficial ambassadorship to Taldor, for which I have participated in many missions to ensure that both the Dwarf race and the nation of Taldor regain their former might and glory. That is why I have been granted and have accepted the title of Lord, but I however have chosen to use the dwarven translation of the title. Hence, I am now known and addressed as Thane Dargrin.

I would suggest that any other members of my people who find themselves being granted a title by our noble allies also adopt the dwarven translation, to pay remind us of the greatness of our people, and to recognize the mighty alliance between dwarfkind and the nation of Taldor.

I ran this scenario just yesterday and myself and the party had a great time. It was our normal GM's last night in town before moving to Indiana for PhD Studies. Lots of roleplaying and character development available, which is what I like. The group however decided to go to the Captain's room to talk to Captain Veine alone, who then sent Azurrete out, so they never got to talk to her directly. Then, I hit them with Act III, and had her poke her head out on deck just before the final battle along with the other two real culprits to keep them guessing up to the last minute. My only gripe was that it turned into a one sided battle since I had 4 2nd-3rd level PC's against the 2nd level villains. If I could run it again, I'd have one of them take Azurrete or the Captain hostage to make things more challenging for a more than 1st Tier, but not up to 2nd Tier party.

I don't know if that's allowed, but that's what I'd do as a long time GM of other games, and only who only recently started running Pathfinder/D&D games.
