About Chop Shop
PERSONALIZE:
Name: "Chop Shop" Dean
Appearance: Coming up on middle age, wears unimpressive clothing with oil stains and a healthy coat of dust. Though he wears typical garb, he does keep it notably patched-up.
Gear: Weapons, toolbox w/tools.
Life: Dean has spent his whole live driving, drove some tractors on the farm well before he was old enough and later on in life he drove 18-wheelers cross-country for a handful of freight and logistics companies. Having been out on the road in between major cities, he survived the blast, coasting into a nearby town to fix his truck to work around the now-fried onboard computer system. As he worked, he overheard the news of what happened. His employer's HQ was destroyed with the rest of Dallas, and so he bartered the goods in the back of his truck for as many spare parts and scraps as he could get a hold of, and slapped together a defensible rig that he could use to live in and transport goods securely. He's worked for his bartertown ever since, and in gratitude they helped him outfit his rig with a machine gun turret and even more armor.
Personality: He is a personable sort, pragmatic and sensible. There ain't a mean bone in his body, except when someone is threatening his settlement, shipment, or crew.
Motives: His life is a never-ending cycle of working for the settlement and using the proceeds to improve his rig to be better able to do work for the settlement and increase the odds of survival for himself and the crew he works with.
