Hey there! It has been a long time since my friends and I have play Pathfinder. We are coming back home now, and are hitting some confusion in character creation. I'm sorry if this post is in the wrong spot or been asked before. I looked, but very well may have missed it. ]

One of the players in my campaign is playing a Magus, and the other is looking into summoner. Now I know these classes are a bit more advanced, and get some strong stuff, but when it comes to the 4 free ability boosts my fighter, and oracle, both have the description as follows

"In addition to what you get from your class at 1st level, you have four free boosts to different attribute modifiers.

At 5th level and every 5 levels thereafter, you get four free boosts to different attribute modifiers. If an attribute modifier is already +4 or higher, it takes two boosts to increase it; you get a partial boost and must boost that attribute again at a later level to increase it by 1."

Now when making the Magus it does not have this specific text, and on the leveling chart it only shows ability boost on level 5 and every 5 levels after... So my question is this, and it may be dumb but we want to be SURE we're reading this right.... Do Magus and summoner not get the 4 free ability boosts at level 1 like the core classes seem to, or do they get them still?

Thanks in advance.
TL:DR: Do Magus and Summoner get 4 free ability boosts at level 1??
