Hi,
My group of players fell foul of Erylium and the Sinspawn in the Cathedral of Wrath, but not until AFTER completing all of Burnt Offerings (excepting some of the Catacombs of Wrath, obviously!) and most of The Skinsaw Murders, including the Misgivings.
Before following the trail to Magnimar, however, they decided to take another look at 'those caverns beneath Sandpoint' and were promptly handed their own teeth.
A couple of years on (IRL) and my player group is keen to re-start, though not all the players are the same and I am looking for ways to 're-boot' with a new group of adventurers.
My current favourite is to have Sheriff Hemlock approach the party and ask them to go after the missing adventurers into the caverns. The bodies of the TPK'd group could be discovered with all their gear and clues/materials. Would also love to have them subjected to the Sihedron ritual but can't make that make plot sense.
Any thoughts? Alternatives? I'm not entirely certain that I'm going the right way...
Apologies is there is already a thread on this. I couldn't see one. Would be v grateful for directions if so.
