The Bloodhawk clan has lived in the Mindspin Mountains for hundreds of years, eeking out an existence from the game in the area and whatever they can gather, while avoiding the many dangers of the wild. A scrawny child, Chak struggled to distinguish himself with the clan as a boy, and ended up spending much of his time wandering away from camp. Rather than getting lost or killed by some animal, Chak found the wilds to be a welcoming home, and he learned trail craft as much by intuition as by watching the hunters of the clan.
Traveling further and further afield, it would sometimes be weeks or months before the young half-orc would return to the clan, often with the bounty of the hunt and news from the area. A day came when he returned home to find the clan’s camp destroyed by some monster, with many dead and the rest scattered. With no ties, he simply returned to the wilds, and lived of the land for years.
In the last few months he has been following game near Roslar’s Coffer, and has made a few trips into the town to trade furs and skins for what supplies he can’t make or forage for himself. With little to no social skills, he can sense the distrust of the humans and other pale skinned races, and returns it in kind. He has a professional relationship with a Halfling trader named Bimkin that could grow into a friendship if Chak stays in the area long enough, but otherwise he keeps his distance from the townsfolk.
