Well Chaenath is a full caster, decent knowledge person, debuff, crowd control, and can heal in a pinch too. There's some overlap with Doc but Doc is a great mid range damage dealer to boot. I think front liner plus face is what would cover our bases. Swashbuckler type? Edit: Alessandra's player is back on the boards I think maybe they can come back?

I think we found it, in the chest. GM mentioned a golden statue of a wasp wrapped in oilcloth and stuffed in an empty barrel— the Golden Vespal, stolen from the Lady’s Sting. Can I add the spellbook spells to Chaenath GM?

I'll lay claim on all the magic stuff... honestly it's been so long since all this started that I don't have any idea what to do next. Maybe a swimming expedition to the ships that were wrecked? Are there any other clues as to where their base would be?

Actually Doc, you have Vomit Swarm too right? Why don't you just vomit a swarm and send it up the portal? They don't seem like they're all that well prepared to deal with them. Waiting 8 or 9 hours isn't a big deal until the trick ends either. Let's start with looting the ship and then sending up a swarm.

Well I'll roll Swarm damage at the least. I don't think the swarm would have much trouble following the warm food it was chowing down on that passed through it. swarm damage: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5 Fort Save DC13 or distracted. Separate Fort Save DC13 or 1 Dex damage

Sure, up to you how much she could move in a single move action, but the swarm is going to keep chowing down on her regardless. I'll be honest. I really have no idea how Chaenath will react to Alessandra's death, and I don't think her player is on the boards anymore.

Would certainly cause some problems though! Ok so I think whole party is up right now right? If Doc throws a bomb at where the half orc is then Chaenath will send a Swarm of wasps at her. Then if she gets on board then will get an Auroch on there to trample. Both those attacks don't care about invisibility or mirror images I'm pretty sure

Well it's not a splash AOE, it's a 10 foot swarm and swarms damage everything in their space regardless of anything else. Let me know if your ruling changes based on that. If not I will try and Dispel Overland Flight

Chaeanth, in the chaos of battle, and focused on the enemy spellcaster doesn't even notice what is happening on the ground. She floats higher away from the attackers and then with the enemy caster finally visible casts Vomit Swarm to create an angry buzzing swarm of wasps that immediately move on to the enemy wizard. Wasp Swarm, 2d6 damage, should get rid of every mirror image since it's on everything within the swarm, distraction Fort Save DC13 or nauseated, poision Fort Save DC13 or take 1 dex damage Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 1) = 6
