About Cello Whisperleaf
Cello Whisperleaf was born on Absalom Station to a hard-working middle-class family living in The Ring near the Freemarkets, where his parents own a storefront. As a child Cello took an interest in science, especially biology, and would explore some of the neighboring stores near his parents store. One of his favorite shops to explore is a Barathu owned biotechnology store near his family store. The store owner Ozo took a liking to the young Cello and with permission of his parents would give Cello odd jobs around the shop or run errands transporting orders to customers. Cello showed an aptitude for biohacking and with Ozo’s help applied for entry to the Sui Saolus Academy on the planet of Bretheda, the Barathu homeworld. Admissions to Sui Saolus Academy is very competitive and non-Barathu students are becoming increasingly rare but Cello won one of the very few seats (with a little help from Ozo’s connections back on his home planet.)
